Chapter 20

"Ok, thank you, bye bye." I hung up the phone and stayed in silence, I didn't even go back to the table cause of a state of shock I was in. "Y/N" he says "you ok?" He comes over and calls for my name again and looks over at me. "I...., I've been asked to be a photography supervisor..."
"Y/N, that's awesome! You love photography! You're gonna be...."
"In New York."
"New... York?" I nod slowly with a tear going down. I slip down to the ground and look at the floor the whole time.
"Y/N" Phil says while going down "don't they know you're in London already or something?"
"They found out right after I finished collage, I'm guessing they had to wait or something."
"When do you have to apply?"
"Until I chose if I wanna leave or not."
"How long will you stay there, if you go that is."
"I would probably have to... live there."
Then, silence. We sat in silence for so long, it felt like eternity. I've always wanted to see Phil and stay with him forever, but then this is a job that could make a good career for me. "Either way Y/N" he starts to say "I'll be happy for you, even if you aren't here."
"Really" I ask to look at him, starting to have some tears down my face. "Yeah, I could even visit you every once in a while, but again, this is your choice, is there some type of deadline for you to choose or no?"
"Well they said I have to check on them and tell them I'm still thinking about it, about a month or so."
"Well then you could think for a while then."
"I guess you're right."
"Here, come here." He opens his arms and I cuddle him. "Like I said, I would visit you as much as I can if you apply, I still would love to see my favorite sister."
"But then, what about Dan?"
"I'm sure he'll understand, maybe you can even talk to him about it, but again it's your choice."
"Thanks Phil, I know I can count on you."
"I always got your back." We stayed on the floor for five minutes, then I got up to head to my room while Phil cleaned up the table. I threw myself to my bed and so many thoughts were going in my head, especially about Dan. I wasn't sure if he was gonna break up with me if I said I would move there, but he's just to kind to just break up cause of this, I'm not sure. By the time I knew it, I fell asleep, passed out, thinking about everything that has happened.

"So, Phil" I say as I get my coffee "if I did go, how would you feel?"
"Upset, but I'd be glad for you" he says, as he flips through the channels, "yet I wouldn't see you everyday in real life, I would definitely Skype you everyday." I smile, then the door rings. Phil and I look at each other in confusion since we wonder who would be at our home this early. I answer anyway and Nathen appears and just kisses me. I try to pull away but he wouldn't stop. Phil comes over and tries to pull me away from him, but he pulls me towards him, hugging me tighter and tighter. "Let go of Y/N" Phil says trying to pull away. He finally lets go and Phil and I fall as he pushed me down. "Y/N" why are you leaving me?"
"What"
"Yeah, you're going to New York right?"
"Who told you that?"
"Oh, I don't know, I wasn't just listening right now."
"You STALK ME?!"
"Alright, just today, I wasn't doing anything anyway so..."
"UGH, LEAVE!" I push him down and kick him out, then Dan walks in, mysteriously. "Who was that?"
"Nathen, they guy I complain about."
"Oh, him."
"And she's mine for your information." "Nathen, leave, just go home."
"Just after the kiss" he says leaning closer. I step back trying not to get touched, and Dan just, stands there. I look over in Dans eyes and he just stares blankly. "Dan" I say, and he doesn't respond. "He's not responding because he knows who loves you more, which is me" Nathen says. I hit the wall and he leans even closer. "This is what you get for leaving me."
"Y/N, look out!"

KABOOM

"AH!" I jump up and I hear the sound of rain and thunder booming outside. I check the time, 4:31am. Outside is still dark and cloudy. I see the hallway light turn on and I go to my sleeping position and fake sleep. I hear the door open and I hear another boom from the thunder outside, I jump a bit as I'm still lying down. I hear a sigh and the footsteps leaving the room. I look over and see that Phil was probably checking on me and was gonna turn off the lights. He forgot the close the door, which is strange, so I wait until the lights turn off. The lights turned off and I waited for him to close the door. Instead, I heard the footsteps in my room and my bed move. I was now fake sleeping with my eyes closed, then another boom came on again, and again I jumped. I felt a warm hug and him petting my hair, and shushing me and telling me it was gonna be ok. I smiled and cuddled closer to him. He then got into a laying position and hugged me. I smiled more and got comfortable to sleep. "Thank you" I whispered. "You're welcome, and I love you" I hear, it was a bit fuzzy though, but, not noticing that it wasn't Phil, it was someone else.
