Chapter 10

It's now quiet. Dan left to his apartment an hour ago and Phil and I are watching anime (any show).
"Y/N?"
"Hmm?"
"Um, I have to go on a trip tomorrow to a YouTube thing, so you might stay here"
"Oh ok that's fi......"
"With Dan."
"What?"
"Yeeah, um, I may have asked him to say for the days I'll be gone, which would be about 3 days, so it isn't much."
"But why is Dan staying with me? I could take care of myself."
"Well, you never know what could happen, and I trust Dan. Plus you two need to be together to be closer" he mumbles.
"Of course" I say.

Its the next day and Phil is getting ready to leave. It's gonna be a bit weird with him gone, and Dan staying. "Do you have everything" I ask him walking into his room. "Yerp" he says "my passport, phone, toothbrush, underwear....."
"Don't go too far" I chuckle. "Well it's important right" Phil asks. "Yeah I guess" I say "where's Dan staying anyway?"
"Couch or my room" Phil says while closing his suitcase "maybe your room but...."
"PHIL!"
"Whaaat, isn't that what boyfriends do?"
I playfully punch him and we both laugh. "I'll go put your suitcase in the living room while you get the things for the plane" I say. I grab his suitcase and take it to the living room. After I've arrived, I put it down and put a label on it. "SOMEBODY ONCE TOLD ME!"
"AH!!!"
"Oh sorry to scare you." Dan had just walked in the room, scaring me to death, and helped me up since I've falling from him screaming. "DANNY" Phil says running in the room. "Don't call me that."
"Sorry" Phil says scratching his back "ok so Dan you know all the rules."
"Don't be a piece of....."
"Poop in front of my sister" Phil quickly says before he was gonna swear. "That too" Dan says as I laugh. "Oks I'm gonna go" Phil says. I give him a hug and a goodbye kiss and told him to be safe and all that cheesy stuff that siblings do. Then we both waved goodbye to Phil, leaving us two alone.

4:14pm, and Dan and I are sitting on the couch, watching even more anime (you choose). "Is this what you do at home" I ask Dan. "Mostly yeah" he jokes around. "Fun fun" I say. We both chuckled, then I heard tapping on the windows. I look out and see some rain falling from the sky. "Was it supposed to rain today" I say "I don't remember the weather saying so."
"Hmm" Dan says looking out the same window as I am "I don't think so, I don't pay attention that much." Then I heard a clash of thunder, and I jump. Now I knew this wasn't gonna be good. I, a 23 year old, is still afraid of thunder and lightning, literally, so I knew that Phil wasn't here to comfort me, it would have to be Dan. "Did Phil ask you to stay here with me" I weirdly ask. "I guess" he says "kinda the reason why he needed to talk to me."
"Oh" I say. We both continued to watch tv, until it turned off by itself. "Is it that bad" Dan says under his breath. He goes to the tv and turns it off, then on, then it worked again. "Powerful much" I say. "Hey, don't judge my powerful skills" Dan jokes. I looked back out the window, and it was already pitch black, and it was only 4:25. "Holy" I say "Dan did you see outside already?" He looks out the window with me and it's still dark. "It's as dark as my soul" Dan sarcastically says. I turn to him and give him the "really?" face. I laughed and I saw that he smiled, which made me happy.

9:58pm. The rain, thunder and lightning was still going on. Dan slept in Phil's room while I'm in mine. I couldn't sleep cause of how loud it was, plus I didn't want it to scare me. "Come on" I say to myself "stop raining already!" It was then quiet, and little rain drops, it was probably drizzling. I waited about 3 minutes to see if it was gonna thunder again, but no sound, just drizzles. I sigh in relief and got comfortable, then closed my eyes.

KA-BOOM

"AAHH!!" I scream sitting up. "I THOUGHT THAT WAS THE LAST ONE" I scream in my head. "WHAT HAPPENED". Dan says barging in.

KA-BOOOM

I hug my pillow tightly only making that safe for me. "Y/N" Dan says worried. He's still by the door standing there, and watching me be like a little 4 year old.

KA-BOOM

"AH" I scream into my pillow, with some tears coming out. I then felt something around my waist. A hug. "Shhh shhh" I hear Dan say as he strokes my hair. I started to feel better, I screamed less and less, at least I knew someone was there by my side.
