Chapter 27

*1 year later*

Everyone gets up on their feet and watch as I walk down the isle. Everyone has a smile on their face, especially Dan. He wipes a tear away and Phil pats his back, also wiping a tear away. I get over to Dan and smile at him. "You look beautiful" he mouths. "Thank you" I mouth back "you look good yourself." The wedding ceremony then starts and everyone sits back down while Dan and I look at each other the whole time smiling.

"Now for the speeches that the couple have written" the minister says while stepping back. Dan starts and pulls out a piece of paper he had in his pocket. "Hello Y/N, this is kinda weird because I actually wrote this a week after I met you for the first time, I kept this like a diary so that if something amazing happened then I would just write it down. So it's officially our wedding day, it feels so weird actually finally marrying the one I love. I remember meeting you for the first time, you were like an angel that glowed. You made me smile every time I saw you, you were a literal sunshine to all of us. We had lots of fun adventures together, meaning getting Starbucks 24/7 and talking about our lives. Now I get to spend more time with you and we could have Starbucks forever now, now that's what I call a win-win. Anyways, thank you for being the one I needed, the one I love, the one who stayed by my side, and the one who made my heart shine bright. I love you Y/N, and I can't wait for the future." Everyone then clapped and it was now my turn. Phil hands me the paper and I start to read. "Daniel Howell, wow, now I can be Y/N Howell, well not yet. Dan, for one thing, you are probably one of the tallest people I've met, besides from Phil, he's tall too. Another thing from you Dan is, well really I just want to say thank you for being there for me. Not gonna lie, you are probably the best person I've ever hung around with everyday. Also, I know I've probably said this a thousand times, but, you've helped me so much throughout the time I was here. All the problems I've had and all the thunderstorms that came by, you were by my side and made me feel safer everyday, so I'd like to say thank you for that. Also, I know that we've had our ups and downs, but we got through them together, we tried to fix our problems to make them right, and I hope that when we are in the same household, all the problems we have, we will fix them together, and try again if we need to. The last thing I need to say is, well, I love you, and I know you know that, but I love you to the moon and back, and I can't wait to be a Howell and spend my life with you." Everyone claps and Dan wipes a tear, as I help wipe another one away. "Now for vows" the minister says. Phil steps up and stands in the middle and smiles at both of us. "Before I start" he says "I just wanted to say that this was my idea because I love them both too much, anyways, let's start." Dan and I now held hands and we stared into each other's eyes. "So Dan, you are gonna repeat after me, then Y/N you will do the same after." We both nod our heads and we start.

"I will love you and honor you all the days in my life." I then place the ring on Dans finger, then Phil leaves and the minister comes back. "So now" he says "Daniel Howell, do you take Y/N Lester to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do."
"And do you Y/N Lester, take Daniel Howell to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do."
"Ladies and gentlemen, I now pronounce this couple husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride." Dan and I smile and then we kiss. The crowd then claps and some whistling is heard. We then separate and look over at the crowd, I turn to look over at Phil and he gives me a thumbs up. "Allow me to now present Mr and Mrs Howell, congratulations." We both now walk down the isle with my hands together. We open the doors and leave the room. "We did it" I squeal out. Dan then picks me up and turns me around. "I'm glad I now get to spend time with you forever."

We are now all outside with fairy lights everywhere, lanterns on tables, and smiles on faces. We all dance and laugh together as family and as friends. "May I now please have the bride and groom up on the floor to dance to their song. Everyone claps and we head on to the floor. The song "Can I Have This Dance" plays on. Dan and I both chose songs to dance to, so I chose this song, only because it gives us so many memories. "I don't know if I should be surprised that you chose this song" he chuckles. "I know you were" I say. We dance the night away and everyone smiles, some are swaying along and lip singing to the song. The song then ends and everyone claps, then Dans song comes on, he chose the song "Just The Way You Are." "Why would you choose this song" I ask him and I lean on his chest. "Cause when you smile, the whole world stops and stares for a while" he says. I roll my eyes playfully at him and we continue swaying. As we danced, I saw some people already wiping their tears from hopefully happiness, people lip singing, and a bit of clapping here and there. The song ended and everyone clapped, then everyone did the "kiss, kiss, kiss" thing. Dan and I looked at each other and shrugged, then we kissed. Everyone clapped and whistled, Dan and I laughed and we sat down.

"Mom don't worry I'll be fine" I say as we walk out to the car together. "I know, but my little girl is growing up way too fast!" I give her one last hug before she leaves, then she heads into the car, then my dad follows in. "You know the rules" he says. "Dad, don't worry, I got it." I give him a hug and he puts his hands on my cheeks. "I'm so proud of you." I wipe a tear from his face and smile. "I know you are." I hug him again and he heads inside the car. I wave goodbye to them and they drive off. I wipe a tear away and I head back over by Dan. "Hey I'm back" I say "saying goodbye is pretty hard."
"Meh, I mean, my parents were sad, but I told them it's ok." We cleaned up as much as we could before we left, some people stayed over to clean up, meaning Dan, Phil, and I since we are the only people who care about the left overs. There wasn't much to clean, but we tried our best and left the place into our cars. "You guys aren't going home right" Phil asks us before we left. "No, we're going to a hotel close by" Dan says "then tomorrow we just go to our honeymoon in the Bahamas. "Don't worry Phil, we'll come back in the next few days" I say, and give him a hug. "I'm gonna miss you" he says. "I'll miss you too" I say "and don't worry, I have a babysitter who can take care of me." Phil chuckles then wipes a tear away. "Phil don't cry" I say, "you're gonna make me cry!" Dan pats Phil's shoulder and rubs it, and pulls me into a side hug. "We'll be back don't worry Phil" Dan says "we'll both call you when we leave and when we arrive there." Phil nods and gives us one last hug. "Don't party hard" I hear Phil say to Dan. "Don't worry I won't" Dan says. Phil comes over by me and hugs me. "If Dan does something stupid, just hit him with a hello internet." I chuckle and pat his shoulder. "I will don't worry."
"Y/N, I HEARD THAT" Dan just yells over. Phil and I both laugh, Dan has his arms crossed, I kiss his cheek and he smiles. Phil leaves and we wave goodbye, now it's just us two. "So what you wanna do now" I ask Dan. "We could go to the hotel, get some rest, wake up and head to the airport?"
"That sounds good." We rented an uber, surprisingly they didn't ask, and we arrived at the hotel. Later we got to our room and we both passed out from the best day of our lives, now we get to spend it together, thanks to my amazing brother Phil.
