Chapter 24

Two days later, my bags are packed, my passport in my purse, and ready to go. We're now waiting for Nathen at 7:55am. Our plane leaves at 10:28am, but the news said that traffic was gonna be pretty bad. Phil sadly has to stay home because he needs to clean the house, get groceries, and finish editing his video. "Oh, he just texted me, he's outside" I say. We both headed down the stairs with my things and went outside. Phil helped me put the things in the cab, and it was now time to say goodbye. I gave Phil a hug and smiled. "I'll be back soon" I say "don't worry."
"I won't worry" he says "please text me when you get to the airport." I nod and hug him again. He waves over at Nathen goodbye and he opens the door for me. We then drove off, and Phil went inside.

Phil's POV:

*knock knock knock*
I rub my eyes and get up from the couch. 9:00am, who would want to come over at this time? I open the door and Dan appears, I then close the door on him. "Phil" he says "open up, I know you're probably mad, but we need to talk." My back is by the door and I sigh. I don't want to see him now, I'm not in the mood, and my heart is a bit broken after what happened to my sister. I open it anyway and let him in, and he stands by the couch. "Coffee" I ask him. "Um, no thanks." I sit over by the couch and I can just feel the disappointment in him. "Look" Dan says "I know you are upset by the fact that what happened with me and Y/N was wrong, but, I never planned this out, it just happened."
"Who was it?"
"It was Kat." I sigh and my fingers touch my forehead. "I know" he says "she's still not over with me, and I know that it was wrong that....."
"How come you didn't stop" I ask. "What? What do you mean?"
"How come you didn't stop the kiss" I say with my teeth clenched. My hands were now in a fist position cause of how angry I was with Dan. "I don't know" he says "it just...." I grabbed him by the shirt and pinned him to the wall. "How come you didn't stop the kiss" I ask again. "I don't know Phil" Dan says, now a bit scared "it just happened, I don't know what happened!" I sigh and let go of him, walking away from him. "Dan" I say "do you know why I'm acting like this?"
"No..."
"It's because,*sigh*, I just didn't want Y/N to go though the same thing that happened to me." The house is now quiet and Dan just stares at me with a tear going down his face. "You've broken lots of hearts" I say with a tear falling, "but I feel like you've broken mine the most."
"Phil" he says walking by me "I know that I may have ditched the wedding, but, it was only scared of marrying the one I loved, which was you."
"Yeah, but you never saw me ever again until later, and I had to pretend that everything was normal." He then looks down and plays with his fingers, then wipes his eyes. "I'm really sorry he says "I'm really really sorry, who knows, I could have still met your sister, she could have babysat if we had a child, we could've gotten a dog, we could've had a happy life, but I ruined it, our relationship, other people's relationships, and Y/Ns." I then cup his hands into mine and I smile. "That was probably the best apology I've ever heard from you" I say "yet Kat tried to ruin your life, you still tried your best to stay away. I know my past self would've forgiving you already, but you now gotta get Y/N." Dan smiles and kisses my forehead. "You know I still love you" he says pulling me into a hug. "I know" I say. It was now an awkward silence, then we both separated from our hug. "Where is Y/N anyway?"
"At the airport."
"Airport?!? For what?!"
"She's going to New York to see her job and might live there, but I'm not....."
"WHEN IS SHE LEAVING?!?"
"10:28." Dan then looks over at the clock, 9:23. "We gotta go" Dan says "common let's go!"
"But I don't think they would allow us like they do in the mov....."
"I DONF CARE, I HAVE TO SEE Y/N AND TELL HER EVERYTHING." I smile, now that's the Dan I know. I run over by him and we leave the apartment, down the stairs to outside, got into my car, and we drove all the way to the airport to see
Y/N.
