Chapter 8

It's Wednesday and Dan is gonna be picking me up soon. He told me he had to go to the grocery store before we left to hang out. Phil keeps asking if I'm going on a date with him, and I keep saying no. "BUT YOU GUYS KISSED" Phil says following me to my room. "Ok but that doesn't mean I'm going on a date" I laugh, "he haven't even asked if I could be his girlfriend yet, so how am I supposed to even know?"
"Well I mean he did kiss you" Phil says sitting down on my bed. I sigh and look through my closet to see what to wear since it's 10am already. I chose a pastel yellow sweater with white pants. "Your boyfriend just texted" Phil says looking at my phone, "he'll be here in five minutes."
"Stop looking at my phone" I say blushing, embarrassed. "Y/N it's fine" Phil laughs. I get my bag and make sure I have everything I need in there. Knock knock knock. "I GOT IT" Phil says running to the door. It was Dan, and they both were talking at the door. "Alright Phil times up" I say. "Aw bummer" he says. "I'll text you later then" Dan says to Phil. "Ok bye have fuuuun" Phil waves to us. We wave back and we leave. "What did you guys even talk about" I ask going down the stairs. "Oh just stuff" he says "like for our gaming channel."
"Ooh fun" I say. We head out the door and walk down the sidewalk.

"Lets sit over here" Dan says taking me to a bench. We were seated by a lake with people on little boats and ducks flying around, some swimming. "Oh I have this" Dan says while getting something. I try to look and see what it was, and it was a loaf of bread. He took a piece and put it on the ground, and ducks and birds came over. I got a bit scared when they flew around, but then I got used to it. "Wanna try" Dan asks me giving me a piece. I nod and place it on the ground. "Can I have another one" I ask him. "Sure" he says getting another piece. "Thank you" I said, and ate it. "Um, I thought it was for the ducks" Dan says while giving the animals more bread. "Quack quack" I mimic. We both laugh and he takes a bite from the bread. "Chirp chirp chirp" Dan mimics while flapping his arms like a bird. We both laugh again and continue to feed the animals.

"Hurry hurry hurry" I say running off. We just finished the bread and gave them to the ducks and ran off so they won't kill us. "Hey look" Dan says "lets go get some ice cream."
"Sounds delicious" I say, skipping my way to the shop. We arrive and it's not super packed, just about a couple of people. We ordered our ice cream (you choose your flavor) and sat down. "How's your ice cream Y/N" Dan asks while having his. "It's really good" I say "it's way better over here than in Manchester."
"Good to hear" Dan says with a smile. We eat our ice cream until it has all gone away. After, we walked back to the apartments since Dan actually wanted to help me plan on what videos to do. "I should pay you back" I say when we got to the building. "No no no" Dan says "it's fine, I payed for them already your fine."
"No no" I say getting the money out of my purse "I must, you've been so kind to me I need to." I find somewhat how much the ice cream costed and I hand Dan the money. "Y/N" he says grabbing on my wrists gently "it's fine, like I said, I paid already, there's no need for you to pay me back." I sigh and put the money back in my bag and we went inside. "So am I going to your and Phil's apartment or are we going in mine" Dan asks while we head up the steps. "Whatever's comfortable for you" I say "I don't even know if Phil's home to be honest."
"Well I guess we could go to your guys apartment then" he says as we got to our floor, "I have to get a look around the room anyway so I could help out." I nod and we head in the apartment. "Phil" I call out. "Yeah" he responds. "Dan and I will be in my room to plan out some videos."
"Ok, I'm gonna need to borrow him when you're done."
"Ok." We head into my room and I grab my notebook and my pen I've been writing down my ideas with.
Ok, lets get to work!"
