We got to the hospital and by now Liv was having contractions close to each other and was 6 cm dilated. The doctors said that she had gone into labour and was progressing quickly because of stress and trauma. I still hadn’t called or been able to reach the boys or any of the girls; it’s been such a rush.
*Harry’s POV*
We (us boys) had a small break between shows so we decided to fly home and surprise the girls. I decided to call Caitlin on the plane but it stopped ringing so I just assumed it was bad connection from the plane. We had landed about an hour ago and it was now 9:30 pm. We were going to Louis house to see our girls then get the rest of the girls to come over so we can surprise them as a group. We had caught a cab to Niall’s place so we could grab his Range Rover and drive in that. As Niall turned into Lou’s street all I could think about was Caitlin and how excited I was to see her. I looked ahead and saw flashing lights and Lou spoke up.
“Neighbours must have been robbed again Haz”
“Yeah must have”
I agreed but as we got closer we saw that it wasn’t the neighbours house, it was Lou and Caitlin’s. Once Niall had stopped, I didn’t wait for the engine to stop running. I took of my seatbelt and ran towards the house. I was stopped by an officer. I looked towards the house and saw the yellow crime scene tape surrounding the house. I hadn’t noticed I was crying until Lou and the other boys caught up to me.
“What the hell happened?!” Louis shouted at the officer
“I’m sorry sir I cannot tell you”
“This is my house! My sister was in there!! Now you tell me what the hell happened!”
I had never seen Louis so fired up, I was just in hysterics I was thinking about the worse possible scenarios but when the officer sighed I shouted at him to tell us what happened.
“Well there were two girls in there an-”
“Wait there were two? What did the second one look like?”
“She was pregnant”
“No!!” That’s when Josh broke
“What happened?”
“A man came in attacked them. One was beaten and taken to hospital as a pre-caution and the other went into labour”
“WHAT?!?!?” We all exclaimed in sync. Liv’s in labour? It’s a month early!
“We’ve got to get down there now”
We all ran back to the car and started driving to the hospital. On the way, no one spoke, we were all just crying but there was no doubt about which three were crying the most. Me, Lou and Josh were just crying and crying silently. When we pulled up to the hospital, us three ran out before Niall had completely stopped. We ran towards the entrance and up to the maternity ward. Josh beat us to reception and asked for Liv’s room.
“Room 12, down the hall and should be on the left side of the corridor” She instructed pointing down the hall with her pencil.
We smiled in gratitude before rushing down the hall. Josh once again beat us there and ran inside, shutting the door. Once we reached the room, we copied Josh rushing in and shutting the door. We turned to see Josh and Liv in a tight hug and Caitlin sitting next to the bed. I saw the bruise on Liv’s cheek before examining Caitlin. She had a few small bruises on her face and she had a big slice though the midriff of her shirt. I gasped and ran towards her. She didn’t realise I was there until I enclosed her in a hug. She gasped but hugged back.
“Harry”
I pulled back to look at her. I carefully rubbed her bruise and I looked down towards the slice on her shirt. I started to lift the shirt up as Caitlin tried to stop me.
“Babe....let me look”
She moved her hand back to her side and I lifted her shirt to just under her bra. What I saw shocked me. She had big purple, blue and black bruises on her abdomen and on her left side was a cut that had dried up blood on it. I felt two tears drip onto my hand. One from me and one from Caitlin. I heard two more gasps and looked up to Lou and Josh who were now staring at Caitlin’s stomach. I let go off her shirt and she hugged Louis before coming back to me.
Just then Niall, Liam and Zayn burst through the door and ran to hug me and Liv.
“Um where are the girls?” Lou questioned obviously looking out for El. Just then his mobile rang.
“Hello...Hey babe...I know...we are at the hospital......they are fine....none of it is your fault...see you soon babe...call the rest of the girls....love you too”
“El is on her way and she is calling the rest of the girls.”
“Harry” Caitlin called from my side
“Yes babe”
“He came back. He found me”
“He isn’t coming back ever again.”
We all stood in silence when Olivia screamed out in pain. The doctor came in and told us we all had to leave except the father. We all hugged Josh and Liv before leaving.
“Its time” Caitlin whispered to me as we walked out.
The girls arrived and all hugged Caitlin and were fussing over her.
We waited for 40 minutes before we heard the door to Olivia’s room open and Josh walked out.
“Lou and Caitlin, want to meet your niece?” They both shook their heads vigorously and followed Josh back into the room.
*Caitlin’s POV*
Once I walked into the room, I hugged Liv and then stood back to admire the sleeping baby girl in her arms. Liv held the baby girl out to me and I took her in my arms and placed myself into the chair beside her bed. I just kept staring at the little girl and thought she was perfect. She had Josh’s brown hair but Liv’s eyes.
“This is Calise Marie”
“Hi Calise, I’m Aunty Caitlin”
“Hey Lou, you jealous?” I asked him
“Why would I be jealous?”
“I got to hold her first”
“Oh I didn’t even think of that, no fair!”
I just rolled my eyes and stuck my tongue out at him.
At that moment the rest of the group walked in.
*Harry’s POV*
As I walked into the room I saw Caitlin holding the small girl in her arms and I couldn’t help but fawn over it. It was a perfect scene. She was a natural. She would make a great mother to her kids...wait make that our kids.
*Liv’s POV*
Wow after eight months I can’t believe Little Roo is out and has been replaced by my darling Calise Marie. She was gorgeous. I can’t believe I’m a mother.
*Josh’s POV*
I can’t believe I’m a dad. Calise is going to be a Daddy’s girl I just know it. I looked over at Liv who was tired but glowing. I have never loved her more than in this moment. Now I have both of my princesses.
