Chapter 21

*Olivia’s POV*

It’s been the worst week of my life. I lost my little baby a just under a week ago. I haven’t left Josh’s house since that day. I felt if I did then I wouldn’t have the strength to return. I have barely left Josh’s bed either; the only time I get up is to go to the bathroom or to get dressed. Caitlin comes by to give me clothes and visit me and bring us food because Josh doesn’t want to leave me alone unless he absolutely has too. I still hate myself for what happened and I don’t how to make it all better.

*Josh’s POV*

It’s been a horrible week. Liv just isn’t the same bubbly person anymore. She’s broken and I don’t know how to pick up the pieces and fix her.

Today it’s just me and Olivia for until tonight. Caitlin, Louis and maybe the boys are coming over. Louis and Caitlin are bringing some clothes and food. I was in the kitchen eating lunch and making Olivia some. She hasn’t eaten much but I still give her some but for the past few she just seems to throw it back up. I grabbed the plate and start to walk down the hallway. I hear sudden footsteps and a door shut as I walk in. I hear Olivia retching and emptying the contents of her stomach. I set the plate down on the bed and jog into the bathroom. I hold her hair back and rub her back. When she is done she rinses her mouth and slowly walks back to bed. I open the curtains to let some light in but when I turn around Olivia is just standing there looking in the mirror with her hands on her stomach and her mouth open. She turns and looks at me.

“What is it?” I ask her confused.

“I just felt something move” She said looking at her belly

I looked at her confused again and she motioned for me to come over to her. I walked over and she grabbed my hands and placed them on her stomach and I didn’t feel movement but I rubbed my hands over and I felt a little bump in the bottom corner of her belly. I held my hand there for a bit and then I looked at Olivia in bewilderment. Something was still there in her belly. She put on a different t-shirt with some blue shorts and a jacket. We both ran downstairs and into the car. I had no idea what was going on but something was up.

*4 hours later*

*Caitlin’s POV*

I just left Emma’s and now thanks to my stupid dad for not taking me out to get my license, I have to walk to Josh’s with the bag full of Liv’s clothes and some food for them. Louis is going to meet me there later because he is just out with Mum and the other boys were all busy. I still don’t have my license because I could never get to the driving test or have lessons so I need to ask Louis about that. Luckily I have my music to keep my occupied. I got to Josh’s house and walked up the driveway. I looked at the windows and as usual the curtains were shut. Liv was so sad and broken lately and I felt horrible because there was nothing I could do about it. I walked up to the door and knocked but no one answered. They must be asleep or can’t hear me. I walked to the side and grabbed the spare key from its hidden compartment in the wall and walked back to the door. Josh showed where it was just in case. I unlocked the door and let myself in. It was strangely silent.

“Hello?” I asked my voice echoing off of the walls but still no one answered.

I walked into the kitchen and put the bags on the bench and looked for Josh’s phone and keys which were gone. I looked out the window and saw his car was gone too. Ok Josh must have gone out for a minute but why didn’t he tell me? I walked down the hall to the bedroom Olivia had been living in the past few days and opened the door. The curtains were opened in this room but Olivia wasn’t here. I turned and looked towards the bathroom which was open. I was starting to get worried. I swiftly walked out of the room and started yelling out their names while looking through the other rooms. I walked back into the kitchen and grabbed my phone. I scrolled down the contact list to Josh’s name and called the number.

Ring......ring.....ring...

It seemed to ring forever but it went to voicemail. I tried three more times but it all ended the same way. I called Louis who should be here soon anyway. It started ringing again. Come on Louis pick up, please pick up.

“Hey kitty, what’s up?” He said calmly

“I’m sort of freaking out here” I said telling him the truth

“Why? What’s wrong?” He said now starting to freak

“Well I just got to Josh’s and Josh and Liv are gone. I can’t find them anywhere. Josh’s keys, car and phone are gone and he isn’t answering me” I told him

“Ok well I’m sure they are fine but I’m on my way I see you in a minute kitty ok?” He reassured me.

“Ok Lou bye” I said and hung. I walked into the lounge and sat on the couch.

He was right. He showed up a minute later and he walked inside with Niall who had Nandos unsurprisingly. I ran and hugged him. He was a little concerned but he knew everything was fine. We waited for half an hour calling Josh and sometimes Olivia’s phone which we found under the couch so that was pointless. We just finished ringing josh when we heard a car pull into the garage. I ran out to find Josh and Olivia who both had massive smiles on their faces. I ran to them and started questioning them.

“Where the hell were you? You had me freaked out and Josh why don’t you answer your phone?” I rushed them

“We will tell you when we get inside” Josh said not breaking his smile.

We walked in and Louis just looked at me.

“See I told you they would be fine”

“Oh shut up Lou. Ok we are inside now, where were you?” I questioned again getting impatient

“Well first things first” Olivia started reaching into her jacket pocket.

“Meet your niece”
