Genevieve's POV

I walked, rather stealthily, out of the train and to the Great Hall. I twirled my wand in my hand with a smirk plastered on my face. My eyesight was still crimson, but I frankly did not give a damn... anymore. Yeah, I didn't care. After tonight people will know that they shouldn't mess with me. That is, if they can find out it was me.

I made the two large doors to the Hall fly open with a loud bang. All of the professor's and student's eyes turned to me in surprise. Some gasped, others gazed.  I chuckled and made my way to the Slytherin table, sitting down in my usual seat. Professor Snape looked at me with a clearly worried, questioning glance, which was very unusual for him to do in public.

"Hey, where's Pansy?" Daphne asked, afraid to get near me. I looked at her and raised my eyebrow.

"I don't know, I thought she was with you?" I lied easily. She bit her lip and returned to eating her food. Pathetic, she's too scared to even talk to me.

"Genevieve, your eyes..." Draco now commented, his voice hushed. I looked at him and smiled.

"You'll get used to them. It just happens." I said and put some mashed potatoes on my plate.

"Why? And where is pug face, anyway?" Draco asked, eyeing me strangely. I sighed and rolled my eyes.

"Are you deaf, didn't you hear? I said that I didn't know. And I don't know why my eyes change color, ask Merlin." I retorted. He snorted and began to eat.

I also was about to eat my mash potatoes when Tracey Davis ran in the Great Hall screaming and shouting.

"P-Pansy! She isn't m-moving! I-It's like she's t-turned to s-stone!" She exclaimed loudly. Everyone, once again, whipped their heads around to stare. Dumbledore, McGonagall, Snape, and a couple other teachers stood up, concerned and what not.

"What do you mean, Miss Davis?" Headmaster asked, trying to understand what had exactly happened to poor, unfortunate Pansy.

"Well, I didn't know where Pansy was, so I went back in the train before it left, and then I-I saw her, she was on the floor with her eyes w-wide open and ready to fight or s-something. She looked surprised." She explained. Everyone started to talk and gasp, even some of Pansy's followers cried. I was probably the only one staring straight ahead, with a sly smile forming on my lips.

Dumbledore pursed his lips, looking around.

"Everyone will go back to their dormitories immediately. Prefects and professors will escort you." Dumbledore said with a bit of an edge to his voice.

"IMMEDIATELY." Dumbledore shouted this time, when no one was getting up. Everyone jumped and started to head to their rooms. The Headmaster and his crew followed the scared girl out the Hall to see where Pansy was. Draco was getting up when he looked at me and caught my smirk. His eyes widened in disbelief.

"Genevieve... what did you do?" He said, voice shaking. I looked at him, eyes turning into slits.

"You think I did it, don't you? Just because I was late to dinner." I clarified.

"Wow, thanks for your trust, Draco. I wouldn't be surprised if you kissed me and then cried over Pansy's almost-dead body. Idiot." I growled and got up.

"Wait! No, no-" Draco said quickly as he grabbed my wrist, stopping me from exiting. I glared at him and shook him off, half running to the Astronomy Tower, because I didn't really know where else to go.

I walked up to one of the balconies and looked up in the sky, trying to calm myself down. I shook my head as if I was shooing all of the bad thoughts away, like an Etch-a-Sketch.
