GENEVIEVE'S POV
I woke up rather early this morning and briskly put my robes on while brushing my teeth. I spit out the toothpaste in the sink and rinsed my mouth with mouthwash, then tried to fix up my hair in the quickest way possible. Looking in the mirror, I decided to go for a half-up half-down style. I checked myself one more time for random stains, food in my teeth, the usual, then rang the bell for the girls to rise.
"Let's go ladies, you have half an hour!" I shouted, feeling like a drill sergeant.
"Thanks for the half hour, she usually gave us ten minutes." Daphne said, referring to Pansy.
"No problem, I'll see you guys downstairs." I said nonchalantly, then ambled down to the Great Hall.
"Genevieve, may I have a word with you?" Dumbledore asked once I had entered. I nodded and walked over to the front, where he sat eating his breakfast and sipping his pumpkin juice.
"Pansy woke up this morning, and she has no memory of what happened. I suspect you don't remind her or give her any information about that day." He said. I looked away and fought the urge to have wind swirl around the Hall, messing up everything in its way. My vision, just by Pansy being mentioned, had turned dark red, like the color of aged wine.
"Yes sir..." I said, gritting my teeth. He patted my shoulder encouragingly, his warning for me to remain calm.
"She will be back with everyone tomorrow. You can visit her if you would like." Dumbledore suggested. I pursed my lips.
"I am only visiting her to keep my alibi and to really make her believe that I had no part in this. What did you tell her about what happened, anyways?" I asked.
"The Professors and I, along with her friend, found her unconscious. No one knows what went on." He simply stated. I laughed and crossed my arms.
"She's going to make such a big deal about all of this. Get ready, Headmaster." I rolled my eyes and walked back to my seat. He chuckled and engaged in a conversation with a teacher who's name I did not know.
"Well, the she-bitch is awake." I commented as I sat across from Draco. Eyes wide, he choked on his water, then set his cup back down after his fits of coughing were over.
"The she-bitch? Aren't we getting a little angry." Draco commented with his signature smirk.
"Shut it bleach-boy," I said jokingly, then continued, "She woke up this morning and is going to join us tomorrow. Can't wait, right?" I said as I took a bite of my green apple. He rolled his eyes and put butter on his toast.
"I'm jumping for joy." He remarked sarcastically. I snorted and fed Nagini a little piece of the apple; it was basically done, I was going to throw it out. She smiled and curled on my neck, thanking me.
My first period was History of Magic, a boring, torturous class. I'd rather get Crucio'd then have to deal with this dimwitted professor. He just kept babbling and talking like a buffoon who did not know when to stop. I sat next to Draco for the class. He'd nudge me when I was about to fall asleep, and I'd flick him on his neck when wasn't paying attention to this much needed information. Of coarse, this annoyed him to no end, 'cause who wants to listen to this garbage? I already had read about it, how about giving me some Nuclear Physics equations or something.
Desperate to be entertained, I took out a sheet of paper and jotted down a sentence, then passed it to Draco.
Hey, is there any way we can get out of this hell hole?
