I woke up fairly early today. The sun had just began to come up. I have no clue why I'm awake right now. I'm school sponsored all day today and I don't have be back at the school until 2:30. I grabbed my phone to see hella IG notifications

I had a few thousand new followers including their friends. I got out of bed and went downstairs. No one was up yet so I figured that I would start breakfast. I put on a fresh pot of coffee for those who drink it then I grabbed 2 skillets,a few bowls, and a sheet pan to bake biscuits. I grabbed the pancake mix out the freezer and eggs and bacon out of the fridge. I preheated the oven then mixed enough pancake batter for a lot of pancakes...not trying to do math.. I'll eat the extras on our way to Red Bank.

As I was putting the last pancake onto the already monstrous stack, I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. Lavar and Tina came in while I was making scrambled eggs in the pan that I had just cooked pancakes in.

"Oh, good morning Liyah." Tina greeted as she and Lavar walked in.

"Good Morning Miss Tina. Good morning Dad."

"Good morning Sweetheart. Is this coffee fresh?" He asked making his way around me to the coffee pot.

"Yes sir."

He got him and Tina both a cup of coffee and walked to the table. I bend down and put the biscuits in the oven. I heard another set of footsteps then seen my mom in the doorway.

"Well isn't this a nice surprise, you never cook around here. Especially on days that you don't have to be up mega early"

I chuckle as she made her a cup of coffee. I cut the eggs off and switched pans so I can cook the bacon.

"Well, I woke up early for some unknown reason and so I figured why not cook for you guys for a change."

"Well we appreciate it."

"It's not a problem really."

"I'm gonna go drink my coffee outside and enjoy the sunrise. Call me when breakfast is done." Lavar said

"Sounds like a good idea. I'll join you." Tina said.

"It looks like you have everything under control, I'm going outside." My mom said, leaving me all alone in the kitchen. I pulled the biscuits out before placing another tray of biscuits in. Lonzo and Denise came in the kitchen as I getting the last of the bacon out of the pan.
