"Ugh...how much longer until we start?" Ryuji groaned as he made sure everything was in order before more people began to show up for the school festival. "Ten more minutes."

Yusuke spoke as he sat next to Akira and Haru "In the meantime, all the votes I counted up the day before for the Guest Of Honor were unanimous by a long shot. All of the students voted for Goro Akechi to come speak later on today." Makoto sighed briefly and Ryuji groaned "I wonder why everyone voted for him.." Ann spoke quietly. "He's uprising in popularity among everyone, no one else could have stood a chance at this rate." Akira pushed up his glasses a bit "Welcome to the Sweets Gallery...how may I serve you on this day? Nya...." I sighed as I stepped out of the small area I was in from baking "Y/n? Wow, you look great! But you sound...depressed, smile! You'll reel in more people that way!"

Ryuji chimed and gave me a thumbs up but with each passing moment I grimaced, I didn't want to do this at all. "Mmhm! The outfit is adorable but you look dead and lifeless Y/n." Ann pointed out and I attempted to at least sound like I was concerned for my wellbeing but knowing this, it wasn't. "Oh? I didn't recognize, I apologize. Just some things aren't really going my way at the moment so once again I apologize. But what I can I get you all?" I spoke taking out a notepad "Strawberry Cheesecake for me!" Ann chimed "I'll have a vanilla cupcake please." Haru smiled lightly at me and placed the menu down "The Chocolate-Vanilla shortbread sound delightful, I would like to try that." Yusuke smiled as he was somewhat excited to try something new "Alright, orders will be out shortly."

I bowed and went back into the small room, sighing as I began putting the desserts together. As I pulled them all out of the oven I slipped out a small bottle of purple liquid, it was lethal poison that was able to kill anyone almost immediately after digestion "Akira Kurusu....those were one of the names on my list..but is this right at all..?"

I started to tremble a bit the more I held on to the small bottle but as soon as I heard the door slide open I put the poison back into my pocket. "Good Morning, I see that your busy today. Is everything alright?" "O-oh yeah everything is fine Akechi-kun." I sweatdropped a bit, not knowing he'd be here so early either.

He slid the door shut behind him and had walked up to me "You look extremely tired, worried if anything. Are we still able to meet up after the day is done?" Akechi asked pleasantly, the more he spoke the more I shuffled around. "Y-yes. I'll see what I can do.." "Good. But I don't want you wearing yourself out either Y/n, but your a swift and flexible girl I can tell."

He smiled and I froze for a moment but I forced myself to give off a small chuckle "Yeah..I guess I could be at times when I need to be." I rubbed the back of my head and Akechi's eyes glanced over at the small bottle that stuck out like a sore thumb but he didn't mention it all "I shouldn't keep you anymore, you have people to serve. I'll wait at the front entrance for you when all is done here." He smiled and left without another word, which made me only think that there was more to this than he led me to believe.

After hours had passed during the day it was finally time to close up the school's festival. I walked out of the stalls and out into the hallways about to leave through the entrance but was stopped by Akira, Ryuji, and Ann. "Can I help you...?" "We just want to talk with you for a sec." Ryuji puts his hands in his pockets "How did you end up with those bruises? Who made you feel the need to kill yourself Y/n? Tell us everything, we're not here to hurt you."

Ann spoke gently and I began have my anxiety attack the moment the questions were asked "They w-were accidents and I was on the roof to get some fresh air until I slipped and fell." "That's a load of bullshit and you know it." Ryuji raised his voice a bit causing me to flinch "Excuse me but this girl is busy today, may you please not bother her?"
