“Shido told you all of this…?” “So you aren’t denying to me that this was all a lie..?!” “No Y/n I love you with everything I have! I had no intentions of ever hurting or deceiving you..!” “Then explain to me how you knew about the incident with my parents!” Tears poured down my cheeks as I gritted my teeth, holding Akechi’s phone in my hand.

No answer came from him as he just looked away from me. “I had to Y/n….I needed to protect you at the time!!” “What exactly were you protecting if we didn’t know eachother at the time?! And what happened to protecting me now?!” His eyes went wide as I stood up in tears as anger pulsed through my body as the room had filled with that of silence.

My anger soon melted in that small moment as I stepped away from him as his a small sense of hurt and hysteria had filled my voice. “I figured as much. Priscilla and I are going to take up on Shido’s offer and go back to the Yakuza.” My steel gaze seemed to pierce through his facade, I seen him crumble right before me when those words slipped away from my mouth. “Y/n please don’t do that! Shido is only using you!” “Just like how you did with me. Like Father and Son, I should have seen this coming but I wanted to put my trust into you since you saved me from Marianne. But of course just like everything else I was wrong. Now, if you’ll excuse me I have prepping to do, don’t even bother getting in my way.” I turned my back onto him for the last time ‘Until we meet again. Don’t bother looking for me.’

Once the door had closed Akechi had gripped the bed sheets and had lied back down looking up at the ceiling for a bit. It only made him wonder as if this were all his fault, and if there were even ways to prevent something like this from happening. “She doesn’t realized she’s only going to be used by Shido until she breaks in his hands. I don’t want that for her...she’s been through too much to go through anymore.” Tears started to sting at the corners of his eyes until he wiped them away with a small sigh. “I promise that we can make this work…”

“Dear, what are you saying?” “You know what I said Priscilla. We’re returning to the Yakuza like what was proposed to me. You do realize I hate repeating myself.” I seethed as I sat in a chair next to her hospital bed, legs crossed as my chin rested on my hand. She blinked at me in disbelief as to what was coming out of my mouth and even took a moment to think about if I was even in my right mind. “But dear don’t you remember what Kamui tried to do to you?” “Keyword, tried. If he actually wanted to kill me, he had multiple opportunities to do so.” A smile came upon my face just reminding myself about that distant memory. “Pathetic. It just goes to show that the dagger of destiny was to go into his back sooner than later. Just like the others who stood in my way in this nonsense.” “Did you consult Akechi with this plan?” “To hell with him.” Priscilla perked up at those words that coldly slipped off of my tongue. She was ultimately confused as to what changed my mind about him. “Ara...I know that voice..that’s voice you use to refer to someone who hurt you. You were so passionate about him and now you deny his existence. What happened Y/n…?” It was silent as a shadow casted over my face. “Nothing. Just know that you have orders to inflict harm upon him if he even comes into bird’s eye view. Now if you’ll excuse me, I was assigned to take on a job from a superior.” I stood up after brushing off my skirt taking a stride for the door. “Make sure you know what the consequences are before you come to a final decision love. I just fear for your safety more than ever..” She took a distressed sigh before looking down at her lap. “Let me know when you’ve made a clear choice dear. I’ll step with you until the very end.” My hand was rested on the chilled knob before mumbling a small thank you as I left the facility.
