The chapter that took me almost two weeks to create. You can tell I'm getting bolder in my writing but I still cringe out wholeheartedly, guessing there's some innocence in me. ☺️ From now I'll be posting what I think is top comment from the previous chapter. I'll do this from now on, since I don't respond to comments doesn't mean I don't read them. :)

"I'll see you tomorrow Y/n." Yusuke smiled and had headed on his way home. From a little ways away I spotted Akechi, so I sped toward him hugging him from behind. "Akechu~!" I nuzzled his back but got no reaction. "Oh, Y/n. Sorry I arrived late, you shouldn't be out in the cold like this." He pulled away from me and I realized that he refused to make eye contact with me and that he was putting on his leather gloves. I had only guessed that he was getting cold too.

Then without a word he just turned on his heel walking the opposite direction I was "Akechi? Akechi hold on!" I panted as I ran after him. Once I finally caught up to him I grabbed his hand stopping him in his tracks.

My cheeks were flushed and I was panting heavily from running after him through crowds of people "Akechi what's the matter?" I walked in front of him putting my frostbitten hand on his cold cheek. I brushed some of his hair away from his eyes and he forcefully slapped my hand away. "Akechi what the hell is wrong?!" "Nothing. If you'll excuse me, I have business to take care of Y/n.." With that he kept on his way and I gave a heavy sigh unsure how to take the situation. I hurt him and I know I did, that's my problem-I pursue to make everyone happy. Not even thinking about the what if's or after facts of my actions, but I refused to let it bother me of course. "I'll let him cool off for awhile and I'll call him this evening.." As I made it back home to the empty mansion, I tossed my belongings on the leather couch and plopped down along sighing and staring emptily at the ceiling above.

Since Marianne died things have been quiet here, I don't mind it at all but it's a suffocating quiet. It's equivalent to the quiet where your mind gets louder as each moment passes. As I hummed to myself letting thoughts swirl in my head until all those thoughts we interrupted with my phone ringing. "A text?" I picked up my phone opening my messages to see that Akechi had text me. "I want you to come over today, I'm in no rush so take your time-I just want to talk....Oh Goro..." I let out a soft sigh messaging him back saying I'll be there in a few minutes. I sighed once more before sitting up to venture upstairs to wash off the paint from earlier.

A small cloud of fog emitted from my lips as I made my way to the door of Akechi's apartment. I knocked on the door a few times then had backed away, waiting for him to open the door.

Moments began to pass and I knocked again tapping my heel on the concrete and shivering because of how frigid it was out this evening. "Hey Akechi-kun!" I dragged out his name starting to get irritated.
