CH 19: Yoda in My House

-Jaein's POV-

When I unlocked the door, I was welcomed by a loud voice.

"SHIN JAEIN WHERE ON EARTH HAVE YOU BEEN!!!!" The voice yelled.

"Chanyeol?!" I ask in surprised. "Why are you here this late?"

"You" He suddenly hug me. "I'm here because of you"

Somehow my heart beats faster than it should.

"Me?"

"Thank God you're okay Jaein" he cares my hair while still hugging me. "You got me worried like crazy"

"Where were you?" He broke the hug.

"I was just going for a fresh air" I casually answer while walking to the living room.

"Until midnight?" He questions and I nodded. "Why? Are you having trouble at work?"

"Aniyo, I just wanted some fresh air, that's it"

Both of us took our seat at the sofa.

"Why did you go alone? You could've just called me" he says while playing with my hair.

"My phone died" I reply. "And I wasn't alone"

-Chanyeol's POV-

"My phone died" She reply. "And I wasn't alone"

"You're not?"

"No" she shakes her head. "A friend of mine accompanied me"

"Who?" I ask.

"It's a secret" she winks and my heart starts beating.

"Ya! Are you keeping secrets from me now?" I scold her and she shrug her shoulder while smirking.

"I hate you" I pouted and she pinches my cheeks.

"Aigo my little cute giant" she says. "BTW, where's my parents?'

"Their friends are having a party" he answer. "They tried calling you but you didn't answer that's why they call me. They were so worried"

"Am I in trouble?" She ask.

"You won't be if you hug me" I tease while opening my arm.

And surprisingly, she did. She hug me.  Well, it's not like she never hug me before but I was just messing with her.

"Have you eaten yet?" She ask.

"I did" i answer. "You?"

"Me too" she reply. "Don't you have any schedule tomorrow?"

"Just practice. How about you?"

"I don't remember" she yawn. "I'm tired"

I chuckle and let both of us fall on the sofa still hugging each other.

"Go to sleep then" i caresed her hair.

"How about you?"

"I'll go home after you fall asleep"

"But it's dark outside" she exclaims. "What if the night monster kidnaps you?"

I chuckle to her sillyness. She always says something silly if she's sleepy or tired. Just like a little kid.

"Then I'll just kill them with my fire power"

"Eomma say that you shouldn't play with fire, it's dangerous" she says with her eyes half closed.

"I'm the master of fire. Fire can't harm me"

"Is that why your hugs is always warm?" She ask.

"Yes, the flame inside of me makes my hugs warmer"
