CH 4: The Best Friend

-Jaein's POV-

I wake up to the sound of my alarm which is playing exo's dubstep intro. As i open my eyes, it came through my mind that last night i was with Sehun and how on earth am i now sleeping in my room? What happen to Sehun?

I open my phone and receive a message from Sehun.

"You sleep half way of the movie again noona ㅋㅋㅋ. I'm already home, safe and sound. Goodnigth noona! Goodluck for tomorrow, fighting!" Awww this kid is really sweet.

"Jaein ah! Ireona! You are going to be late for your first day!" I heard mom shouting from downstairs.

Then i realized that today is my first day working. I quickly get up and get ready for work. I quickly put on the outfit that i already prepare yesterday (on the media).

I went downstairs to the kitchen to eat some breakfast.

"Good morning appa, eomma" i kissed each of them.

"Aigo look at our daughter, so grown up" my dad says as he close the newspaper he was reading.

"I can't believe you're going to work now Jaein ah, it seems like yesterday you were swimming naked in the rubber pool backyard with chanyeol..."

"Momm!!! It's embarrassing!!"

"No, it was fun" i heard a voice coming from behind me. I turn around an found...

"Chanyeol?!"

"Good morning Jaein ah" he hug me. I didn't hug back because i'm still surprise on his sudden arrival.

"Ya! aren't you gonna hug back?" He said that makes me snap out off jaein-land and hug him back.

"What are you doing here?" I say as i broke the hug.

"Aren't i'm here to make your first day of everything not a living nightmare?" He smirks.

"Pfft... I'm not a little kid anymore chanyeol" i pouted.

"Yes you are jaein ah" he say while pinching my nose.

"Come on guys eat your breakfast or you both going to be late for work" my mom calls us.

We eat our breakfast while talking about Chanyeol's career with exo.

"You guys really are grown up now, i'm so proud of both of you, it seems like yesterday you both are..."

"Okay mom i think it's getting late, we better get going, right chanyeol?" I try to escape before my mom starts telling more embarressing story of me and chanyeol while we were kids.

"Ah wae? We still have so much time to spare, i still want to hear more story, you can continue mrs. Shin" he say ignoring my pissed face.

"Fine then you can stay, i'm going" i pouted and walk away from the kitchen to the front door. I slam the door close to make sure they know i'm mad at them, espcially chanyeol.

-Chanyeol's POV-

I heard the door was slammed close and know immedietly that Jaein is mad at me.

"Hahaha, i better get going mr. and mrs. Shin, the wolf is out of the cage, i should go and catch it" i joke.

"Hahaha, goodluck today chanyeol ah, take care"

I went out of the Shin's resident and run towards the angry walking Jaein.

"Jaein ah wait up!" I shout calling her. But she didn't turn back, she just kept on walking. Thank God for my long legs that let me catch up with her. I throw my arm on her shoulder and lean on her.
