Alexander and Daisy tumbled onto the bed, she lay atop him kissing him. It felt like an eternity and Alexander wasn't sure where to place his hands- he had never been in a situation like this before. Daisy started to get into the moment more. Between kisses Alexander gasped for breath. Finally he grabbed Daisy playfully and lifted her gently off of him, she lay beside him in the bed.
"Well that was interesting." Alexander remarked
Daisy positioned herself closer to him and proceeded to place her hand on his bare chest. It was nice to feel her warmth and she smelt of cinnamon. It wasn't lust- it was actual love.
"I want to make sure that the first person you kiss loves you, okay?" Daisy said
"The Perks of Being A Wallflower- nice. Love that film." Alexander said
Daisy looked up at him and then leaned in for a quick kiss.
"Lets cuddle and watch it then." Daisy suggested
"Gosh your nerdy-ness is so hot." Alexander replied
They lay in each other's arms until brief glimpses of sunlight started to peek through the tall willow trees. After the film ended they had fallen asleep and a knock on the bedroom door jolted them awake. It was Janice Langdon!
"Alexander! Time to get up for school."
Alexander whispered to Daisy and told her to hide in his closet until the coast was clear. Luckily she was more dressed than he was. He threw a shirt on right as his mother burst in.
"Sleep well last night?"
"Uh yeah- I couldn't sleep so I decided to watch a film. I got a few hours of sleep but I will be alright." Alexander answered
"What movie did you watch?"
"The Perks of Being A Wallflower." Alexander said
"I don't know why you like that movie so much, I find it depressing. "
"I like the message behind it. The music. The storyline. The acting. It is like a modern day version of The Breakfast Club." Alexander remarked
"Alright. Well breakfast is ready whenever you are. You are going to be home alone for a little while later on today, your father and I are going out tonight."
Janice left his room, closing the door behind her. Alexander crept over to the closet door, opened it slowly and then stole a kiss from Daisy.
"If you wait around here for about 20 minutes I can give you a lift to school." Alexander said
Alexander finished his morning routine and told Daisy of the plan he had devised. She would sneak out his window again, start heading towards the school and then he would pick her up within minutes.
...
Oh the joys of high school! The four year hell-hole. The place where friendships are made in minutes and destroyed in a matter of weeks or months- the same goes for relationships. Kevin drove by the Impala blasting music that could be categorized as unintelligible rap garbage. Alexander grabbed Daisy's hand and they scurried towards the main building of the high school before the verbal assaults began.
"So I guess we are officially dating now." Alexander chimed
"Maybe I will play hard to get." Daisy teased
"Well we can just re-enact last night and see about that." Alexander blurted
Daisy tightened her grip and they shared a goodbye kiss before their classes began.
