Just a sound, a single sound,
Showing that happiness can be found.
Bringing smiles, and drying tears,
It's music, music to the ears.
Small and shy, loud and bold,
Bringing joys, otherwise, untold.
Eyes that shine and gleam so bright,
And sparkle with a radiant light.
Pushing worries far away,
And letting plaguing thoughts stray,
To happy memories, to better times,
To songs, and stories, and merry rhymes.
To hopes, to wishes,
To goodnight kisses,
For the waves of joy,
Will never ever truly die.
Without this simple sound, our lives would be tragic,
For they are miracles, small pieces of magic.
A magic, so pure, it is impossible to hate,
A magic that every single person creates.
A laugh - it's music to the ears,
Bringing smiles, and drying tears.
Showing that happiness can be found,
Its just a sound, a single sound.
