Shadows stalk through the night,
As the icy wind bites,
Fear steals into the hearts of men,
Be it foe, be it friend. They stumble, they fall,
The darkness blinds them all.
Fear rooted so deep,
Never resting, it will never sleep.Screams echo in their ears,
People forced to face their fears.
Those that creep silently through the night,
Till the the sky is filled with light. Then the cold, it seeps away
A new dawn, a new day.
Light, through the shadows shall shine,
And hide the darkness for a time. For now, you will breathe easy once more,
You will try to forget, try to ignore,
The shadows that stalk through the night,
Beware they are waiting still, staying out of sight.•
