One of the most dangerous seeds,
Whose plant bears the poisonous fruit of greed.
The desire, the need, the want,
The obsessive yet fascinating taunt.Whispering quietly in your ear,
Silently through your eyes it peers.
Slowly, taking over your brain,
Subtlety, driving you insane. Finally, when over fills,
Over the brim it spills.
Killing everything thing in it's path,
Yes, this is the extent of Greed's wrath.Later one might feel remorse
But still, there is far worse
The many people that don't really care
That they take more than their fair shareThus depriving others of necessities
Ignoring their desperate calls and pleas
Being cruelly selfish
This is what they relishKilling slowly,
Slowly but surely,
Do not sow this dangerous seed,
Whose plant bears the poisonous fruit of greed.
