Almost there!
No!!
So close.
Next time, next time for sure!!
In all five years of her life, it seemed that she had never been closer to touching those white, fluffy, cotton candy like clouds.
Closer to finishing her mission.
Up! Up!! Up!!!
The trees stood tall, they were trying to get to the clouds too! Sometimes she was shorter than them, but sometimes she was even taller than the trees!! She was determined to reach the sky before they did.
Up! Up!! Up!!!
The sun was setting, it was time to go home, but home could wait a few minutes! She was on a mission!!
Up!! Up!!! Up!!!!
She rocked her legs and her upper body just like Mummy taught her.
So that she would gain more mom... what was it? 'Momtum!'
Up!! Up!!! Up!!!!
The clouds would surely taste like cotton candy! She would go home and tell her brother all about it! Then they could do it together!!
Up!!! Up!!!! UP!
Suddenly the world began to tumble and spin and nothing made sense anymore. Then she was on the ground, covered in dirt. She got up slowly, and began to dust the dirt of her hands, when she noticed angry red scrapes on her palms, and knees. Her eyes filled with tears but she stopped them from falling.
Be brave. Be brave. Be brave.
That's what Papa always told her. To be brave. She's wouldn't let the tears fall, she was a big, strong girl!
A lump settled at the back of her throat, and suddenly she couldn't take it any more. She turned her back on the beautiful park, and ran home crying, for her Mummy, and her Papa, and for her brother, and for the angry red lines to GO AWAY!***
After dinner she was feeling much better.
She had been pampered and fussed over by Mummy, warned to be careful by Papa, but he later gave her one of his big bear hugs! Her brother had tried to take her mind of it by showing her lots and lots of computer games, none of them really made much sense to her though. All the red lines had been covered by pieces of tape that Mummy called 'bandits' which burned at first, but then Mummy kissed it better and tucked her into bed.
Now quickly falling asleep her last thought was, as she looked out of the window, through the parted curtains, and into the night sky, tomorrow, tomorrow for sure.
She would go back to the swing, and finish her mission.
She would finally touch the sky.

Sorry for the late update... My internet was down...... :(.
Just in case you didn't get it... Momtum was momentum, and bandits was Band-Aids.
I figured that a five-year old wouldn't be able to pronounce some words and end up sounding extremely cute:)
ANYWAY!!!! I hope you guys enjoyed this one!~daughter-of-nemesis
