Spreading wings,
Flying, soaring high,
Standing tall to touch the sky.
Breaking the iron chains,
Escaping the shackles that bind,
Your heart, soul, and mind.
Screaming, laughing, crying,
Leaving behind all the fears,
Happiness is the cause of the tears.
Run, leap, and bound,
Deep breathes of fresh air,
Go anywhere you dare.
Deep crinkles around the eyes.
The joy bubbling, erupting,
To every nook, and cranny, it's spreading.
Never looking back,
Running, at long last, free,
Finally free.
