"Good morning." Jefferson said to his coworkers as he briskly walked to Hamilton's office. He had gotten a huge breakthrough last night while texting Angelica.
"aLEXANDER!" Jefferson yelled as he burst into the small room. "THERE'S SOMETHING I NE..ed to tell you...?"
He paused.
"Wait, where's Alexander?" Thomas wondered aloud, as if Alexander would pop out from behind his large stack of papers and say, "I'm here!"
Jefferson left the small room and went to Washington's much bigger and nicer office.
"waSHINGTON!" Jefferson said, bursting into an office for the second time in a matter of minutes.
At least someone was here this time around.
"Yes, Jefferson?" Washington said in exasperation. He looked tired.
"Sir, where's Hamilton?"
"Hamilton? You mean, he's not in his office?"
"No, sir."
"He hasn't called in sick." Washington said, tone careful and curious. "Ask around. If he doesn't show up, come back and tell me." Washington ordered gently.
"Yes, sir." Jefferson left to look around the break room, panic rising every minute Hamilton wasn't around.

Hamilton opened his eyes and was met by a blindingly bright lightbulb. He stared at it, forcing his eyes to adjust to it while he recounted the last few hours slowly in his mind.
There was a storm. I had a panic attack. Jefferson calmed me down and I slept on his lap. He drove me home at 2. I was knocked out.
He felt the sting from a punch on his temple, and he instinctively reached up to feel the bruise.
And I've been kidnapped.
There were chains on his arms.
Now that he thought about it, there was a gag in his mouth, too, and something, presumably more chains, tying his feet together.
Hamilton felt a panic awaken in him.
But, then he remembered his FBI training, and he forced himself to be calm. Alexander felt drool fall down his chin as he tried to call out. He'd like to see his kidnapper. "Aye!Imawak!" He screamed.
He heard a yell and footsteps from above, and he braced himself.
"He's up."

"Hamilton wouldn't up and not come to work. He's not that type of person! He would have at least texted someone!" Jefferson said to Lafayette in a panic, pacing back and forth in Lafayette's small office.
"Calm down."
"I can't calm down, Laf! I..."
"...You love him?"
Jefferson paused abruptly in his pacing, ears slowly turning red. "N-nO. I was going to say I was worried." He looked away.
Lafayette raised an eyebrow.
"ButImeanIdunnomaybeissadefinitepossibilityhesjustrlycuteandimsoscaredthatheshurtandidk." Thomas added quickly, face flushing a dark red.
Lafayette smirked, before standing up and grabbing his car keys.
"Now that I have some juicy blackmail," Lafayette said with a grin, making Jefferson groan loudly. "Let's go to his apartment and see if we can retrace his steps."
