chapter seventeen

The same day

Everyone sat downstairs and talked while me and Daniel sat in his room talking. "Hey buttercup?" he asks.
"Yes Danny?" i smile at him
"About that date could i take you tonight?" he asked.
"Of course what time?" i ask
"How is 7?" he asks back
"Perfect!" i say. Its already 5 so i told him i was gonna go get ready. I walk downstairs and say goodbye to everyone and get in my car and drive off. Once i get to my house i shut and lock the door i head upstairs an go into my room shutting the door behind me. I quickly change into this:

  Kept my hair the same.

When im done its about 6:40pm so i pass the time by scrolling through instagram.  at about 6:56pm i hear a knock at the door. I open it and it reveals Daniel in a black button up shirt and black skinny jeans with roses in his hand."wow you look stunning!" he says with a huge smile on his face. I smile and say, "you look amazing yourself!" he hands me the flowers and i cant help but smile. He opens the door to Jacks car:

I thank him and get in he gets in the drivers seat and i ask, "so where are we going?"

"I am taking you to a fancy dinner and then some ice cream and the rest is a surprise!"he says.

"Danny i can help pay you know i ha-" i get cut off by him saying "Sam don't worry its my treat tonight!"

"Fine!" i say giving in.

We arrive at the restaurant. And he opens my door. Man what did i do to deserve him? We intertwine out fingers and walk in. We get showed to our seats and i just order a salad and Daniel orders steak. We both order waters.

We pass the time buy talking about our child hood and how i wanted a dog when i started living on my own. Soon our food came. The dinner was filled with laughter and happiness. I was finally happy. After dinner we drove to an ice cream place. I tell Daniel my order and find us a seat. I see a familiar face walking up to me. Ryan. He is not going to ruin this day for me. "Hey babygirl" he says with a smirk on his face. Daniel starts to walk over. "What do you want Ryan you have already done enough" i snap at him. "All i want is for you to keep your mouth closed or ill have your whole possy wishing you away you little whore!" ryan says getting quite close to me im getting so uncomfortable

"Get away from her and if you think we are gonna ever wish away you have another thing coming you are wanted and hey look the police are already here!" Daniel says snapping at him.

"PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK!" an officer says. They push him to the ground. Ryan gets up getting pushed in the cop car. "THIS WONT NE THE LADY OF ME BITCH" Ryan yells. I put my head in my hands sighing. "Hey buttercup lighten up your safe with me." Daniel says.

"Im sorry if i ruin your guys life i could go back to Mich-" im cut off by him smashing his lips into mine. We pull apart and i smile. "Lets eat!" he says pushing my ice cream towards me. We eat and soon i get in the car with a blindfold on. " i swear if you mess up my make up that's the last of Daniel seavey anyone will see!" i say laughing "trust me buttercup" he says. I just nod the car stops and i feel a pair of hands wrap around my waist.
"You can take it off" he says. He unties the blindfold and i wait for my eyes to adjust to my surroundings. I see a heart filled with rose petals dug in the sand and a cute beach setup with a blanket and some pillows:

Daniel grabs both my hands and gets out a little black box. "Sam May Keik i have known since i seen you playing on the streets in detroit that you would hold a special place in my heart and ever since then i haven't stopped thinking about you. You make me happy and i want it to be my job to make you happy. Sam Mary Keik will you be my girlfriend and take this promise ring so when we have our fights you can look down on your finger and always know that i love you and i will always love you." he says holding my hands. I have been waiting for this since i met him. I didn't know he even had feelings for me. I had tears in my eyes "of course i will be your girlfriend Daniel James Seavey!" i say wrapping my arms around his neck. We share a passionate kiss for about a minute. I pull away and hug him. It feels amazing.

For the rest of night we cuddle at the beach where he set up the picnic type spot. We decide to go home around 2:30am after we watch the stars. "Tonight was amazing Daniel" i say.
"Im glad i new if i didn't act soon you would leave and never talk to me again." he says as he drives with one hand and puts the other on my thigh. "Daniel i would never leave im staying right here." i say the rest of the car ride was silent but our smiles never left our faces.

We arrive at the WDW house. "SAM!" they all scream. I laugh and say, "were you guys in on this?" i ask.
"In on what?" zach asks.
"I asked her to be my girlfriend none of you knew but i had to act fast before she hated me forever!" Daniel says. "AND!" Kristin comes in with Jonah. "I said yes i mean who could resist him!?" i say. Im engulfed in a big hug. I smile and pull away from the hug.

"Um could i stay here tonight?" i ask
"Of course in my room!" Daniel says. I smile and kiss him and go upstairs. I walk into his room and take one of his hoodies i change out of my spandex shorts that were under my dress and steal some of his sweats. He walks in.

"Hey i see you already stole my clothes buttercup" he says.
"Of course it smells like you and i believe it would help me fall asleep." i tell him walking to the bed. I take the blankets and jump in the bed patting the spot next to me for him to lay down. He lays down next to me and i lay my head his chest. He starts to play with my hair. I instantly fall asleep. The smell of his cologne and the warmth of his hands easily make me fall asleep.
