It was only a matter of time before the peace around New Orleans would break. Neither Klaus or Hayley knew that the reason for it would be because their daughter was taken.
Selene was taking a nap, Hayley went to check on her when she looked inside the crib and the baby was gone.
“KLAUS!” Hayley yelled. How was her baby gone? She just had her in her arms, saw her beautiful smile.
Klaus had entered the room the moment he heard Hayley yell for him. He knew something was wrong.
“Little wolf, what’s the matter?”
“Klaus, she’s gone! Selene is gone.” Hayley began crying.
“I came to check on her and she is not here.” Hayley could barely get the words out her mouth.
Klaus grabbed Hayley and held her in his arms. He needed to come Hayley down so they could find their daughter. He would like nothing more to go completely insane and rip the city apart looking for Selene, but that would do no one any good specially his little one.
They need to think with clear heads and then when they found the person responsible he will kill them slowly and painfully.
Klaus pulled back and looked her in the eyes.
“I promise you, we are going to find her and bring her home safe. When I find the person who took her...”
Hayley put her hand on Klaus’ cheek, “Make them pay. Remained them why everyone fears you.”
Klaus kissed her forehead. “Let us get Elijah and round up everyone together so we can go find Selene.”
