AN: I'm just going to put this story in since I have so much to do and may not have so much time to write The Forgotten Truth. Especially since this story is basically already finished, I just have to get the other parts in here.

This appearance from the odd being lasted for the passed six days, each night making Ciel used to it and get even more attached. Holding up the promise Ciel made with the figure, it told the boy that it was still Sebastian the dog but only that he was a very special type of dog that could transform into a human. And as a naive little child, Ciel believed it, even more happy about how unique his dog was.

Sebastian's human form would always appear as the same thing. Uneven black hair and pale skin, wearing a copy of Tanaka's butler uniform. However, even with the simple explanation, a child was born with endless curiosity. Ciel asked mutliple questions.

What type of special dog are you?

Why are you here?

What other special powers did you have?

Why do you call me 'young master'?

How can you transform at will?

All and more questions were either ignored or were changed to an idea of what game to play.

And at this night, Ciel and Sebastian were playing a heated battle of chess on the floor. The boy having the white as the other had black. "Hey, Sebatsian, can I ask you something," Ciel asked, moving his Queen up two spaces. "Of course, what is the matter?"

A light blush tainted the boy's pale cheeks as his eyes darted towards the window. "Do you think...I'm your friend? I mean, we've been playing together for a while, but I want to make sure." The question was surprising to Sebastian, but the look was quickly covered by a kind smile. "I believe you're a good and trustful person to be spending time with."

Ciel frowned in a pout, "Sebastian, that's like the exact definition of the word 'friend'. Why not just say 'Yes, yound master, you are my friend." His companion slightly chuckled as the child tried to do an impression of his voice. Only earning him a harder pout. "Is that an order?" Ciel huffed in slight annoyance, settling his face on the carpet. "Fine, Sebastian, I order to say 'I'm your friend'," he breathed, voice muffled. "Than yes, you are my friend, young master."

The sound of a small clink caught Ciel's attention and he looked up to see a black knight just in front of his king. "And young master? Check mate."

"What?! That's the third time you've beaten me," the boy gasped and grinned up at Sebastian with a look in his eyes. "I'll win next time, Sebastian." The being merely smirked and nodded. "I'm sure you will. Now, what shall we do next, I have a feeling that you're growing tired of this game."

Ciel nodded, thinking for a moment. "Hmm...we could play hide and seek. Me and Elizabeth always play it," he suggested finally. "Then it's decided. You go hide and I'll seek for you, alright?"

The boy quickly stood up, brushing his large white shirt from any dirt and looked up at Sebastian with blue eyes filled with excitement. "Okay. You have to count to a thousand first and you can't peek or you'll be cheating. Understand?" Sebastian stood up as well, bowing as he turned to face the wardrobe. "I understand, the rules are simple."

He covered his eyes, "One...two...three...."

Ciel darted out of the room, leaving the door open as he quietly ran about the halls. Counting up to a thousand would take Sebastian a little while to reach so it would give him good time to find a well hidden spot. The boy knew that since Sebastian had followed the boy everywhere he went inside the manor, so he needed to go somewhere that Ciel himself had never gone before. Which would be...
