Chapter 6

Valka

It still hard to believe of how much Hic has told me about being the Dragon Prince and how he was able to pull an incredible defeat of the Dragon Queen all on his own, alongside with Toothless, a Night Fury!

As I was thinking about it, Snoutlout sees how much I was so worried about my son's powers and abilities.

"Aunt Valka, things are going to be fine, Hiccup is sixteen, he can handle his Dragon Prince abilities sooner or later and manage to save our home." 

I turned to my nephew in a confusion state.  From what I can see, it seems like Hiccup and Snoutlout are more than just cousins, but they acted more like best friends since forever.

"Snoutlout, tell me something. How long did you know about Hiccup's sudden changes when he is the Dragon Prince?" I ask.

"Well, Hiccup would try to understand if there is a new power that he doesn't know about and he would try to act casual and try not to worry us.

I'm sure enough that he would tell us when he's ready. 

But let's change the subject, Aunt Valka. I was wondering... would you come back home, to Berk?"

I was actually shocked of his question. Can I really be part of Hiccup and Stoick's lives after being away from them for sixteen long years?

I was silent, as I hold my hands as Snoutlout looks at me with a silent awe. 

"Hey, Snoutlout, where did you go, man?" I turned to see it was Hiccup who interrupted our talk.

"Sorry, Hic, I didn't mean to worry you. I was just hanging out with Aunt Valka, you know trying to get to know her better." Snoutlout said to the curious, yet confused sixteen year old Viking.

Hiccup saw as an embarrassment that he interrupted and seems to be blushing red.

"Oh, I didn't... I  really didn't know that. I'm so sorry that I interrupted you guys like that." He said, rubbing his head.

I said, "It's totally understandable, Son. You were just being curious and concerned." 

Hiccup turns to his cousin, "Snoutlout, I really need to talk to you for a moment, if you aren't too busy." 

Snoutlout turns to me, wondering if it was all right to leave me.

I gave him a silent nod, confirming to him that I'll be fine.

As the boys were beginning to leave, Snoutlout whispered, "You really must consider it, Aunt Valka. You will get used to the new Berk eventually. It's great to see you alive."

When everyone was asleep, I couldn't. I couldn't ignore the fact that I was actually the daughter of Drago Bludvist.

Now that he's coming to attack my friends, I couldn't let them discover my darkest family secret. 

As I pulled my hood over my head, I rushed to the docks so no one could see where I was going.

"Well, hello my dear." I shiver as I knew who was greeting me. 

I turned to see my father's right hand man, Viggo Grimborn. 

"Viggo. I see that my father has sent you to spy on me." I said with a disgust expression.

"Drago just want to make sure that his little girl is safe. I don't want to disobey his orders, unlike you.
