Chapter 13

"The mighty Wanheda survives Praimfaya. Now that's a story to tell."

Clarke looked over to find Indra walking over to them, followed by Octavia. A soft smile came to her face at the sight of her Trikru friend. "Indra" Clarke said as she gave Indra a quick hug. "I'm surprised you haven't gone crazy down here yet."

Indra let out a small laugh. "Oh I almost did several times, but Octavia was there to smack me out of it."

Just as her name left Indra's mouth, Octavia made it over to the group. "What about me?"

"We were talking about how badass you've become'" Murphy joked with her.

"What are you talking about Murphy, I've always been a badass" she sassed back to Murphy before turning to Clarke. "I haven't gotten a chance to actually give you a hug."

Clarke wrapped her arms around Octavia giving her a tight hug. "I missed you Octavia." They stayed like that few a seconds before pulling away from each other. "You were always my favorite Blake" Clarke told her, sending her a wink as she did.

"Ouch, that was a blow to my ego." Bellamy joked, causing everyone to laugh.

Clarke took a second to realize how easy it was for her to laugh, and not one of those fake half laughs. With her mom and friends by her side, she could feel herself becoming happier with each passing minute. She could feel the fears and loneliness of the past six years leaving her body, like a weight was physically being lifted off her shoulders.

"Now you guys don't have to, but I need to get back to the lab. I just have a feeling Jax and the twins have destroyed something, it definitely wouldn't be the first time."

"Jax? The twins? What else am I missing?" Abby asked her daughter, clearly confused for another time since reuniting with Clarke.

"Well let's go home so you can meet them." Clarke motioned towards the door as she said it.

Everyone started following Clarke to the door until Octavia's voice stopped them. "I have to stay here until things get settled down and people decide on what to do. Don't worry though, as soon as I can I'll come to, trust me I need to get out of here soon."

"As much as I want to see the ground again too, I'm going to stay with Octavia" Indra spoke up too.

Clarke understood why they had to stay, Octavia was a leader now and Clarke knew what it meant to be a leader. "Of course, just come see us when you guys can. You'll probably have to wait for one of us though since we only have one boat."

Instead of responding, Octavia turned to give her brother another hug. "See you soon big brother" she said as they hugged.

"Of course little sister. Nothing is stopping us now." Bellamy was okay leaving his sister, knowing nothing was going to come between them. No radiation, no ALIE, nothing was going to separate them this time.

"Jax! Leena, Kenna!" Clarke called out to the kids as they walked back into the lab after their trip back from the bunker.

"You told them not to leave the the lab." Raven asked after they didn't get a response from the kids.

"Oh I did, and I know they wouldn't. Usually when they are this quiet they are up to no good." Clarke took a few more steps into the bunker before speaking in her second language. "What ever mess you three are getting into it's gonna put you on clean up duty for a week."

Clarke's little threat made Emori and Echo laugh, considering they were the only other two who understood what she was saying. Not even a few seconds later three heads popped out from around the corner.
