Bellamy paced around the room as Abby completed yet another physical on Clarke. He only stopped when Madi grabbed his one hand with both of her own and gave him a soft, reassuring smile.

"Clarke's strong Bellamy, you know that."

He squeezed her hands and squeezed her hands before turning towards Abby. "I know you haven't found anything medically wrong, but Clarke still has woken up yet. It's been two weeks since everything happened and I'm worried."

"I know you're worried Bellamy, I'm worried too." Abby stood up from where she had been sitting on the edge of Clarke's. She fixed the wrinkle sheets before fixing her attention back to Bellamy. "Her body just needs rest. Lots of rest. She has probably been running off adrenaline much longer than we realize. She will wake up once her body has properly rested."

"I know, but it doesn't make the waiting any less agonizing."

                                                                                  3 weeks later

"You need to sit still Clarke for me to check you." Abby forcefully dragged Clarke back to the chair she had just been sitting in a second ago.

"Mom please," Clarke grumbled as she continued to pace around the room. "I've basically been bed ridden for the past two weeks."

"Don't be dramatic honey, I only asked you to take it easy and not do anything physical. Your body needed that time to heal."

Before Clarke could argue any further, she felt Bellamy gently place a hand on her shoulder. The small action immediately stopped her from pacing. "Clarke please. Give Abby two minutes."

Clarke let out a dramatic sigh and rolled her eyes but ultimately did as Bellamy asked. Since waking up two weeks ago, the only person she has really listened to was Bellamy. He was the only person who could get her to listen to Abby's requests. Without him, Clarke wouldn't be almost completely healed.

Bellamy placed a kiss on the top of her head after she sat down. "Thank you princess."

It took Abby just a few minutes to check all of Clarke's almost fully healed wounds. There was only one that was slow to heal, the worst of all the wounds she received. No one had originally seen the large, deep gas on Clarke's right thigh until after Bellamy carried her into the lab. It worried them all at first because it took some time and effort to get the bleeding to stop. The wound was still irritated and scabbed over, unlike her other wounds that were no longer irritated at all.

"How does your thigh feel?" Abby asked as she gently touched the spot with her gloved hands.

"It feels great. Almost brand new."

"Be honest Clarke. I need to know if there are any complications."

Bellamy squeezed Clarke's shoulder, urging her to speak. She placed her own hand on top of his and gave him a quick look before turning back to her mother. "I have good and bad days with my thigh. It tends to really start hurting if I've been on it for a while, and when that happens my limp gets worse as well."

"There's even some days that by the end of the day she can barely put any weight on her leg. A few times I've had to help her between the bed and the shower," Bellamy chimed in.

"I don't think she needed to know that Bell." Clarke grumbled and looked down to the floor trying to hide the slight embarrassment that was now showing on her face.

Abby took off her gloves and placed them on the small table beside her. "Thank you Bellamy. That is helpful to know, despite what my daughter may think."
