"You remember what we talked about right?" Clarke urgently asked Madi in the radio. A while ago Clarke decided to make a second portable radio just in case they ever had to be separated. They were only made for emergencies, and unfortunately this was an emergency.

"Yes, yes I remember Clarke. The kids are safe and I even picked up some more supplies just in case we're away from the lab for a while." Clarke heard Madi's voiced wrapped in static from the radio.

"Good job Madi, now go to the cave a-"

"few miles from the dock and wait for you to tell me what to do." Madi cut Clarke off, finishing what she was going to say. "And if we need to jump on the boat we will, but you know I won't go without you."

"You won't have to, I'm just staying behind to see if anyone actually comes out of the ship okay? I'll meet up with you in a couple hours."

The ship was still hovering in the same exact spot, not moving even an inch in the last hour or so. Clarke was starting to question whether there were people even on it, because if there were wouldn't they have landed by now? What if it's just surveying Earth? What if there were people on it but they're all dead? There were so many different scenarios running through Clarke's head. It had been six years with no other human contact besides Madi and the other kids and Clarke worried that if there were actually people on the ship that they weren't going to be very friendly.

Clarke was brought out of her thoughts when the ship slightly moved backwards. It was such a small movement that if Clarke hadn't been watching it for the last hour she wouldn't have even noticed it move. Clarke took a step forward, but as she did the ship moved backwards even more. That's when she realized, she wasn't just watching them, they were also watching her. Just to be completely sure of her revelation she took another step forward, but the ship didn't just move backwards, it shot backwards. Clarke jumped at how quickly the ship moved away. She watched it as flew about a mile away before it stopped completely, but what the ship did next not only surprised but also worried her. Instead of staying where it was at, the ship started lower itself closer to the ground. It was finally landing. She watched it land and when she was sure it was on the ground she used the scope of her rifle to get a better look. She expected the ship's door to have opened after landing but she watched for a few minutes and nothing happened. She knew she had to get an even closer look, she had to actually go to the ship.

"Madi stay put, I might be a little longer than anticipated."

.

"Buckle up kiddos, it's going to a rough landing!" Bellamy could barely hear Raven over the loud humming coming from their ship entering the Earth's atmosphere. He gripped the harness that he was strapped into, knowing their landing was going to hurt a hell of a lot more than when they first landed in the dropship.

"We can't forget the most important thing though!" Raven started yelling again. "As soon as we land in the water we have less than three minutes to get out of the ship before it starts sinking! Only three minutes got it!!" Everyone only shook their heads, not trusting their voices to be louder than the ship.

Bellamy gripped the harness even tighter as the ship jolted after entering another layer of the Earth's atmosphere, quickly falling closer to the ground. He kept going over in his head exactly what he had to do after they landed. Three minutes, three minutes, he just kept repeating to himself as if he was actually going to forget such an important detail.

"Brace yourselves!! We're landing in 30 seconds!" There was a hint of nervousness in Ravan's voice as she yelled the warning.

Bellamy didn't even have time to brace himself before the ship hit the water. A wave of pain ran through him, knocking all the air from his lungs. The sudden pain didn't last long but it did stun him for several seconds, giving him enough time to regain his breath. It didn't take him long to realize where he was and to finally snap into action. He looked around and saw his friends already out of their harnesses. Bellamy started undoing his own harness knowing that as soon as the first person opened the door water would start to fill the ship. Harper was the first to reach the door just as Bellamy finished undoing his harness. She wasted no time in open the door. The sun was blinding at first and Bellamy wished for nothing more than to bask in it, but he knew that would have to wait for when he was actually in dry land and not where he was at risk of drowning. He made his way out of the ship to see only four of his friends treading in the ocean, quickly realizing someone was missing.
