Confusion written all over the female's features, Lucie looked around. From what she could gather from the stroboscopic lights, the pouding music at 128 bm somehow synching with her own pulse and thrumming in her ear, the female was in a club. Most likely a huge one judging by the curtains indicating several private rooms. Genuinely surprised nobody had noticed the blinding light that usually accompanied her arrival, the chestnut haired girl gently swayed her hips to make her way through the crowd, avoiding people with a controlled dexterity. The unpleasant, heady atmosphere led the female to strive for fresh air, steps leading her towards the nearest exit. That was, until a tall muscular blond who didn't seem to see her, heavily bumped shoulders with her. "Hey!" She called him. "Apologies not accepted but I would've liked to hear them!"
The guy frowned and gestured at his chest. "Me?" He asked, keeping his voice low. Genuine bewilderment could be heard in the blond's tone.
She rolled her eyes. "Yes, you."
He furrowed his brows. "You can see me?" He asked, needing confirmation.
She rolled her eyes, again, getting more and more annoyed at the Captain America wannabe's behavior. "Yes, sorry to break it to you, but I'm not blind." She deadpanned, making the guy's eyes widen. "And what's the glassy sword for? A genre?" Brows furrowing, Lucie examined him. Could he be her next mission? Was she supposed to stop him?
"Hold on," The blond huffed softly. "What are you?" He asked.
"I don't know." She gently pat both of her cheeks, her chest, then her arms and thighs, seemingly checking for something. "Oh my God, I, I might...." Lucie gasped softly for dramatic effect. "Be a real girl." She whispered out, as if she'd just shared an important secret. "But shhh. We wouldn't want Pinocchio to be jealous, now, would we?"
The guy rolled his eyes. "I mean what kind of creature are you?"
Lucie made a face."Creature?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. "Dude, that's a little harsh. Aren't we all a little bit human deep deep down?"
The guy scoffed. "Excuse you, I have angelic blood." Oh that's a new one. But coming from a guy in that sort of club, there was no certainty.
A dry snicker escaped her lips. "Yeah, pal, I think what you have is a little bit too much alcohol in your system. How many drinks did you have?"
He rolled his eyes at her condescending tone, choosing to ignore the question and favoring asking another : "How do you have the Sight?"
