Lucie was shivering, her cheeks and her lips had reddened due to the teeth-chattering cold. She hadn't been expecting snow. At all. The traveler wrapped her arms around herself, trying to warm herself. "I hate my non-paid job. Sometimes." She declared as she was rummaging through her backpack for Jace's leather Jacket. Didn't exactly fit with her outfit, nor was exactly her size, but, who cared ? She zipped it up and shoved her hands in the pockets. "Time to get this over with." She declared and started to walk toward something that vaguely looked like a castle.

It was settled, Jace hated ferrets now. And the one peeing on his shoe while he was on the bus might have something to do with it. Scratch that, it was definitely that ferret's fault. Jace looked up and glared at the owned who stuck their tongue out. The blonde had never felt more offended, he watched the other man in disbelief for a few seconds before clenching his jaw and crossing his arms over his chest. The other man seemed to shrink back a little and Jace chuckled, satisfied.

Lucie made it to the entrance of the castle, the drawbridge was down and the doors were opened... Something was definitely wrong. As discreetly as possible, she reached for one of her chinese ring dagger, holding it onto the palm of her hand as she cautiously stepped inside. She frowned as she entered the main hall.

"LONG LIVE THE KING!" She heard someone yell. It was followed by the sound of glass smashed against the floor. "BUT THE KING IS DEAD! DEAD! DEAD!" The voice kept going on, making it easy for Lucie to identify where it was coming from.

"But your majesty..." A small voice squeaked.

"NO MORE MAJESTY! THERE IS NO MORE KING! I ALREADY TOLD YOU REEPICHEEP!" He smashed his fist against a wooden table. "King Caspian died years ago..." He declared, pain dripping from every word.

"But my King, I returned to help. We could take it back. And what's a horn but an object ? You showed mercy, you showed strength, you showed everyone what a King was supposed to be. I followed you once, I will do it 'till my last breath." The mouse declared, determination clear in their his voice.

Caspian sighed. "It is all but an object, it's a symbol, it's hope, you know it. You followed me the first time because the chosen sons of Adam and daughters of Eve were by my side. No need to deny it." He help a hand up. "There is nothing but a broken kingdom here, Reepicheep. You shall go your way. And I, on my own."
