Adrian looked through his lashes, choosing not to open his eyes yet as he assessed his surroundings. He couldn't recognize where he was. Nor who was surrounding him. But they didn't look like Anna. So it had to count as a win. Grunting as he tried to sit up, the male fell back onto the leather chaise lounge he was laying in. "Ouch." He let out, voice altered by the pain. "No." The male warned, raising a hand when a warlock approached him. After sighing deeply, Adrian brought a hand to his forehead and allowed his eyes to fall shut. Healers shouldn't use their powers on themselves, it's not the purpose they serve. But the follower of Serquet was desperate and didn't trust anyone in his current surroundings. So he allowed his magic to flow through him. The male gasped, reopening his eyes as the spell kicked in, silent tears rolling down. Adrian let his hand fall at his side, gathering his thoughts for a couple of seconds before blinking and sitting up. "Alright, what's going on? Who are you people? And where is Lucie?" The magician narrowed his eyes upon seeing the expressions that wrote themselves on the people's features. "How bad can it possibly be?" He asked, getting irritated at their chosen mutism.

"She's dead." A blond finally said. "Along with our friend Clary."

Adrian nodded. "Okay." Clary. Shadowhunters. He'd read Lucie's files. Blond, Jace. Brunette, Isabelle. Tallest one, Alec. Asian, Magnus, warlock. And a dorky vampire named Simon.

"That's all? Okay?" The blond asked, fists clenching by his side.

"Yes. Okay. Because obviously if you woke me up, it means there's more to it. Or did you do it out of kindness of heart?" The Traveler asked, tilting his head to the side, unimpressed.

Jace drew in a breath, nostrils flaring. He took a step forward, but Alec brought a hand to his chest, stopping him before he could do something he would grow to regret. "We do know something that could help fixing the situation." Magnus intervened.

"Then speak, Warlock. I suppose we don't have all day." Adrian stood up. "Where are the bodies by the way? I think I should probably put on a preservation spell until we can fix it all."

"Follow me." Magnus said, leading the way out of the room. He gave his boyfriend a pointed look, clearly telling him to hold Jace back. And Adrian silently followed him out of the room.

"It's too tight." Mac said, tugging on his tie. "It's too tight. Bowties never get too tight."
