Mabuti nalang at nandoon kaming lahat at may kasama si Tiffany. That girl. She introduced someone to me! I didn't know about him! Hindi niya sinabi sa akin na mayroon pala siyang naging ex noon na Agent din sa Exodus?! Now he's back and he's her date during the banquet! That's a slap on my face dude!
The man is good looking and he's always by her side. He's a swimmer and Tiffany even came and watched her game! Balita ko ay nagkabalikan na sila? That quick?!? Hindi ako mapakali kaya naman ngayon ay nasa office ako ulit ni Tiffany for the feedbacks of the project. Pwede namang i-send nalang 'to via mail pero gusto ko talaga siyang makita kaya nag punta ako dito.
"Goodmorning." Masayang bati niya sa akin with her eye smile.
"Did you sleep well?" I smiled. "Where's your son?"
"Ah. I left him at home to play with his cousin..." cousin? So Kuya Leo has a son, now?
"Should we start?" She nodded at me then started reading the papers.
We were already done two hours later. Tumayo na kami pareho and shook hands. It's lunch time so I will have her eat with me.
"Anyway, let's have lunch?" Please don't turn me down, baby.
I'm sorry. I already have plans for lunch."
"With who?" Just then, her office door opened. It's the guy from before.
I clenched my fist and gritted my teeth. I loosened my tie and unbuttoned the first two buttons.
He kissed my woman on the cheek and placed his arms around her waist. Damn, bro! Get that filthy hands out of my wife's waist!
"Oh. Mr. Horvejkul, you're here again." I turned my expression into a cold stone before accepting his hand.
"Yes. I had an early meeting with Tiffany. It only ended now." He nodded and even intertwined his hands with my woman?!?
"So I guess you're done with business?" I nodded while sticking my eyes on their hand. "We're going, then."
I almost shouted when I saw them leave Tiffany's office together. It's broad daylight so he'll not probably do anything with her, right?!
Nag antay ako sa office hanggang sa makabalik si Tiffany. Poseidon has his own office here and it's very comfy too so here's where I'm staying.
"I don't really get you, Zeus. You can't remember but you keep sticking on her?" He says.
"My heart tells me that she's someone special, Poseidon. I can feel that she's part of my life. So I'm sticking to her to remember who she really is." Umiling nalang ito and continued with his paper works.
As of now, wala pa talaga sa mga kaibigan ko, even family, ang nakakaalam that these are all just acts. Hindi pwede. I don't want to put them at risk.
I received a call from the office kaya umalis ako sandali. Then, I returned at sakto namang nandito na si Tiffany ulit. Nagulat siya nang makita niya akong nakaupo sa couch sa receiving area.
"Do we have something to talk about? Okay lang ba kung bukas na? I'm in a rush, right now."
"I just wanted to check on you."
"Me?" I nodded.
"I wanted to see if that guy brought you back safe. I'm glad he did." I guess my wife can't resist my charm so she laughed at my little joke? "Can you join me for dinner?"
"I'm sorry, Nich. But I promised Nate that we're going out tonight. Next time nalang siguro?"
"Great! I'll join you two, then."
Sinabayan ko na siya papunta sa parking at sumakay na din ako sa sasakyan niya.
When we reached their house, she called for our son. She was so surprised because Nathan went to me instead of her, his mom.
"Yey, Daddy! You're coming with us tonight?" Nagpalipat lipat siya ng tingin sa akin at kay Tiffany.
I nodded then put him at the backseat and put his seatbelt on. Ako na din ang nag drive dahil alam kong pagod na si Tiffany. I removed my coat and folded my sleeves before going in to the mall.
"Wow! Mickey pencil case!" Patakbo si Nathan na nagpunta sa stall ng mga pencil case at kahit malayo pa, kita niya na iyong may mickey mouse na design. I guess my son loves mickey too.
Sunod namin binili ay ang bag, na mickey mouse inspired din. Lahat yata kasi ng mickey nilagay na ni Nathan sa cart namin. Dinala na kaya ito ni Tiffany sa Japan?
Dahil gabi na at pare pareho na kaming gutom, kumain muta kami, tutal tapos nanamang mag shopping yung mag ina.
"Their pesto pasta is incomparable than yours, Daddy."
"Talaga? Is that how you informally say that you want to eat my pasta again?" I wiggled my brows at ginulo ang buhok ni Nathan.
"Uh huh!" Tumango si Nathan at ngumisi.
"You're zoning out. Eat your food before it gets cold." Ngumiti lang ako at tumango sa kaniya.
I think that Tiffany and I has telekinetic powers. I know that she's probably thinking about our almost perfect family, right now. I know. It's my fault.
Si Nathan ang huling natapos kumain. We are now walking our way to the basement at kanina ko pa napansin ang uneasiness ni Tiffany. Someone is following us. I saw at least four men around the fast food earlier.
I did few things with my phone and sent something to Apollo. We need back-up. Tiffany held a tight grip on our son at saka ko pinabitaw iyon sa kaniya. I carried him and walked fast. Some men are tailing us again.
"Khun, I'll drive."
We were right. They're really tailing us. I know that these are Grant Ward's men!
"Ice. Agent Ice. This is X. I'm around Hongdae. There's a car tailing us. Check the footage and track them."
Nathan looked confused and scared ngunit wala naman akong magawa. Damn. This is my fault!
"It's definitely Grant Ward's men, Tiff. You have to get out of there now."
She stepped on the gas and at the intersection, a car appeared and bumped to us.
It was too fast that I wasn't able to protect her nor our child!
Tumaob ang sasakyan and I saw from the outside how the goons checked on us. It was not long after when reinforcements arrived. They got out Nathan first, from the car then Tiffany and me.
Both of them were already unconscious as blood are all over their body!
Damn. What have I done?!?
