Agent X- Vengeance

Mahilo hilo ako at medyo nabibingi nang idilat ko ang mata ko. I looked at Nathan at the back who's also bleeding! Then I looked at the unconscious Oppa beside me.

I tried to unlock my seatbelt while looking around me. Those thugs are gone. I closed my eyes to bear the pain but I can't. I just want to surrender myself in darkness.

"Tiffany!" It was Yunho Oppa's voice that I last heard before I finally became unconscious.

Dahan dahan kong minulat ang mga mata ko. The white lights and paint made me want to think that I'm already dead. I'm in a Hospital and I got into an accident with Oppa and Nathan. Nathan. Where's Nathan?!?

"Oh. You're awake." Tinulungan akong makaupo ni Kuya at hinanap ko naman agad ang anak ko. "Theodore is in the office, getting a psychological treatment. Na-trauma yung bata dahil sa aksidente."

"Is he hurt anywhere?"

"Just a scar on his head. He's fine."

Napatingin kami pareho sa may pinto nang may biglang pumasok. It's the four other girls

"The last time you were badly injured was when we found out about Nate. Don't worry. You're not pregnant." Tinawanan nalang namin ni Kuya si Jessica.

Si Hani naman ay worried na napatingin sa akin, with all these bandages and scars on my face, I think I look horrible.

"We already found out who those guys were. You're right. They're from Genesis." I sighed after hearing Hani's report. "But according to our Agent undercover in Genesis, Grant Ward didn't send men to kill you or cause an accident for you. He is too busy with his experiments para magpadala pa nang goons sa'yo."

"Then who sent those men?" Sinb asked.

"We're still looking into that. But for now, rest first, Stephanie. You can't go back to any missions because of your injury. As for the works in the Hotel, Krystal and Hani will step up." I pouted.

Does that mean that i'll be jobless again? Tsk.

"That's not what you're supposed to say tho." I shrugged my shoulder then grinned.

"Then what should I say, hmm?" Tumawa ako at natigil iyon nang mag bukas ang pinto.

Two elders rushed to me and greeted me with warm hugs. Si mom ay naiyak pa.

They heard about the news and and flew all the way from the US for me. I know which line is next.

"We were so surprised when we heard about what happened to you. Is Nathan fine?" Mom asked.

"Yes, Tita. Luckily, minor injuries lang po meron si Nate." Mom nodded on Krystal's answer.

"But that doesn't mean that we will let you stay here in Seoul. This also happened before when you were working in a mission involving Buck Mafia and Genesis? You are not a fool to suffer once more, Mi Young. Twice is enough. You and Nathan will go back with us in LA this weekend." Not again.

"Kuya Steven heard about this too and he's also worried for your safety, Jess. Lalo na at nabaril ka pala noong isang beses? And also for Krys and Avianna. So all of you girls will return with us." Nag react agad sila nang sabihin iyon ni Mom at ako naman ay natawa nalang. 

History repeats itself I see?

"So just like four years ago, we're surrendering this mission to Kuya and Yvan, Mom?" I asked.

"Yes, because this one's too risky. I've always reminded you to stop doing risky jobs."

"Mom, Dad, we started this mission to bring back my family! We have to end Genesis to bring back Oppa's memories. If this can't be done, Nathan will grow up without a Dad." I argued.

"Get over him now, Steph. Hindi ka pa ba natututo? Don't you think that I'm unaware that you got shot four years ago because of Nichkhun, Zeus, the leader of Buck Mafia? You almost lost your child that time! And what now, huh? You almost died because of him, too! I heard that his girlfriend now is with Genesis. Hindi mo alam kung aware siya doon. And if he is, maybe he knew what's going to happen! Baka nga siya pa ang nagpadala ng mga goons na iyon para maaksidente ka! He's the only one who's not injured. Hindi mo ba naisip na baka iningatan siya dahil isa na siya sa mga boss ng Genesis ngayon?"

I was silent after Mom's answer. I felt that she has a point. Pano kung nakakaalala na siya? Or what if he was brainwashed?

"This is not the Agent X that I trained, Stephanie. Agent X is not blinded by love. What happened to you, anak?" I started crying after Dad said that.

Yes, I'm no longer the Agent X that I used to be before. Agent X stopped falling in love after she broke up with Yunho. But her heart started beating again after meeting Nichkhun.

"You're right, Dad. I'm no longer Agent X. Agent X died when I had Nathan." Napapikit sina Daddy. "I have to do this, to give him a better life and a complete family."

"You were able to raise him alone for four damn years, Stephanie. You don't need his Father. But if you really want a father for him, then marry someone else.."

They left after that because they want me to think of my situation deeply. They have a point, yes I admit. Pero gusto ko talagang bigyan ng masayang pamilya si Nathan.

"Don't get pressured, Tiff. You must follow your heart. What does it say?"

Although  I want to satisfy myself by finishing this mission, I also need to think of Nathan's safety. Okay pang sana kung ako lang yung magsa suffer, eh. But I have a son, now. I have someone I need and have to protect.

Dahil masyadong mabigat ang kailangan kong gawing desisyon, natulog nalang muna ako hoping that when I wake up, I'll finally have my decision.
