It's 2am, I'm on my full combat suit while Nathan is on his usual airport attire. We're just waiting for the cue from the other Agents and we will start the move. I won't be accompanying them at the airport, as we are going to get Genesis' attention.
So kanina pa, I've been clinging on my son to bond with him for the last time. Mami-miss ko nanaman ang fluffy baby ko. Haaay.
"Mommy, stop being clingy please. You told me that we'll be seeing each other again in less than a month! Please don't be like this.." buhat buhat ko ito at niyakap. Haaay.. I'm going to be away from him, again.
"Agent X, it's time." cue iyon sa akin ni Apollo. Ready na ang lahat, pati ang sasakyan nila Hyoyeon.
"Hyo, ikaw na ang bahala, ah. Shindong Oppa, please look after them." Tinanguan nila ako at saka binaba ko na si Nathan.
He looks sleepy so I gave him to Si Won to let him carry my son. I kissed him on the forehead one last time.
"I love you so much, my little angel."
Inintay muna namin na makaalis ang sasakyan nila bago kami umalis din.
It's showtime.
Nichkhun Oppa knows where Grant Ward is staying in Korea. So that where we're going. Hindi naman kami magi initiate. We'll just declare war and get his attention.
Apparently, he's staying in Chuncheon. He has a rest house there and according to intel, maraming mafia reapers at guards na nagbabantay, so it'll be hard to enter through the main gate. Kaya bubong kami dadaan.
"We'll wait here. You have 30 minutes.." tumango ako sa sinabi ni Jessica na nasa sasakyan kasama si Taecyeon.
All we need is 30 minutes to stall time. Dahil inabot ng halos dalawang oras ang byahe namin sa Chuncheon, sapat na ang 30 minutes. Yung 30 minutes na 'yon ay oras na natitira bago tuluyang mag board ang flight nila Nathan.
"Come back alive, okay?" Iyon ang huling sinabi sa amin ng dalawang tech Geeks bago kami tuluyang bumaba sa kwarto ni Grant Ward.
I see, the Devil is still peacefully sleeping huh?
"It takes time to wake him up. Why don't we go find a secret room or something?" Tanong ni Oppa sa akin.
"But don't you think that the secret room might be in his bedroom?" He chuckled softly.
"Oo nga.." he looked around. "Let's just look for something that might be useful."
Just when we were walking on the hallway, we saw a suspicious painting, that might be a pass or key to a secret room. We examined the painting and concluded that we are right with our assumptions.
The optimist man that I knew was not really an optimist. Sino ba namang magaakala na ang isang importanteng pass ay nilagay niya lang sa may hallway?
Nichkhun and I hesitated for a while, because we wanted to consider the possibility that this is a trap. However, we still took risks. Tutal, nandito nanaman na kami.
"Go sit on one of the computers. I'll take guard." Tumango ako sa suhestiyon ni Oppa.
I started clicking on the computer, looked for some files and copied it in a flash drive para mamamaya sa office ay makuha ni Jessica ang mga detalye na hindi ko kayang halughugin. When I was done with the computer, I roamed my eyes around the secret room.
This guys really is a psychopath. I guess he keeps hairs of people he killed. What a waste. Disgusting man. At one corner of the room is a map, which caught my attention.
"Brave New World is in the Philippines. We were right." Napatingin ako at tumango kay Oppa.
"At least now, we know." We checked our wrist watch and agreed to return to the roof.
We have two minutes until Nathan plane's boarding and two minutes before Grant Ward wakes up. Kailangan na naming makalabas dito.
But before leaving, I left a sweet message on his fridge para naman malaman niya na nagkaroon siya ng bisita habang natutulog. Just when we reached the roof, tumunog ang alarm sa buong bahay ni Grant Ward.. sakto pala at nagising na yata siya.
"Agents, we have safely checked the plane, and they have safely boarded." Sabi ng isang agent sa comms.
"Thank you.. sugwahae."
Saka lang ako nakahinga ng maluwag nang malaman iyon. But for now, we still have to pray that they'll arrive safely in Bali. Isang karayom nalang ang kailangang lusutan.
"Let's head to the HQ. I will call for an emergency meeting." Sabi ko kay Jessica at tinawagan na ang mga nasa HQ ngayon.
We have to act fast because from what we have seen on the timeline table on the computer, two days from now, there will be another batch that will be sent to the Island. We have to be one of those.
"If what I am assuming is right- you two would let them insert a chip on you, stay in the Island for a week and wait until Grant Ward shows his face,then start the war right away? Baliw ba kayo?!" Hindi makapaniwalang sabi ni Jessica while discussing about the mission.
"Jess, our face is not known to everyone in this world. They won't recognize us quickly."
"And you will go there with that name- Stephanie Hwang and Nichkhun Horvejkul?" Umiling si Oppa
"Nichkhun and Stephanie Horvejkul.." napa tingin ako kay Oppa.
I almost forgot that we were married. I never actually carried his last name because of what happened.
"Wow, that's sweet. You finally have his surname, cous." Jessica says with sarcasm.
"I am serious about this, Jessica. We are all aware that what Grant Ward wants is me and Khun. We are now offering ourselves to him." I said.
"How will you remember your mission if there is a chip inside your body? And don't you know that with that chip, they can monitor your daily life?!"
"One agent will play as a research specialist. This agent will insert a fake chip to us and clear us from all other processes." I explained.
"And since there are already two undercover agents inside, we will work with them to keep you guys updated for all of the happenings."
When they finally listened to our plan, they gave in and just let us do what we want. Besides, wala nanaman silang magagawa.
Pagkatapos i-finalize and plano ay bumalik na kami ni Oppa sa Mansion and Manor. We will leave tomorrow as Genesis will insert chips to the third batch.
"When all of these things are over, we should get married." Muli nanaman akong nagulat sa sinabi niya.
"Aren't we married? I am now carrying your last name." I said.
"The wedding we had when you were pregnant with Nathan was not your dream wedding." I smiled at him. How considerate.
I remember how we got married within a judge just because of a bet our friends made. We never really had a proper and grand wedding. Of course I want one, too. That's every girl's dream. But for now, I can't think of a wedding or whatsoever because of this war with Grant Ward. As long as he is alive, we won't have our peaceful lives.
"I promise, once everything is over, I will walk to the aisle." Ginulo ni Oppa ang buhok ko at saka ako niyakap ng mahigpit.
"I love you so much, boo..." he said then kisses me on the forehead. "We can play, now. Nathan is not around.."
Ito nanaman siya sa pagiging naughty niya. Sinamaan ko nalang ng tingin at saka kami tumawa ng pareho.
Hay. I want a peaceful life with my family. I hope everything ends soon.
