Days have passed. And today, the delegates from different countries are finally arriving in our hotel. I have too many works to do but my mind won't even function. I am still thinking of a way on how to make Nichkhun remember. His life is in danger, because a Genesis member is lingering around him right now.
Like they said, a traitor will always be a traitor.
I snapped out of reality when my Secretary connected on to me through the line.
"Yes?"
"It's time to check on the site, ma'am. We're expecting the guests in less than an hour." Inayos ko ang sarili ko at tumayo sa swivel chair.
"Where's Krystal?"
"The Vice President is checking the preparations for the banquet, ma'am."
"Okay. I'm coming out." I disconnected the line then handed my phone.
I have to get rid of everything else in my mind right now and just worry about this project.
Paglabas ko ng office, my Secretary was already waiting for me. He led the way at bumaba kami sa ground floor para lumipat sa kabilang building, kung saan titigil ang mga guests. Sinalubong kami doon ng iilang hotel staff at ng General Manager. I checked the facility then went to the banquet hall to check on Krystal.
Naabutan ko siya doon na inis na inis habang nagtuturo sa mga staff kung ano ang dapat gawin. Hindi pa din pala ganun ka-prepared. Umiling nalang ako at natawa sa ginagawa ni Krystal. She's just like me when I first started.
"You are not going in to check, ma'am?" My Secretary asked.
"No need. I trust her." We continued walking para makabalik na sa building ko.
Sa entrance ay nakita kong kakapasok lang ng ilang tiga-NK Travel Corp. kasama siyempre si Nichkhun at Lesley.
"Goodmorning! How are the preparations going?"
"We're almost done. You guys are early, huh."
"For the banquet." Nichkhun shrugged.
"The banquet hall is still not ready. Maybe you should just stay in our VIP lounge instead." Ngumiti ako sa kanila at pumunta na sa may elevator.
Gulat ako nang makitang nakatayo na sa gilid ko sina Nichkhun at Lesley.
"Would you mind if we just stay in your penthouse instead?" He winked at me at napaawang nalang ang bibig ko.
Nauna pa talaga silang pumasok ng elevator sa akin. We all sat on the couch nang makapasok sa office ko. Lesley looked amazed, probably because it's her first time to see an office with a house.
"Would you want some coffee? Juice? Or tea?"
"Tea nalang, for me." Ngumiti ako at pumunta sa bar stool.
I started brewing coffee for me and Nichkhun. Nag-init din ako ng tubig para sa tea ni Lesley.
I did a Latte art on Oppa and I's coffee bago iyon dalhin sa lounge.
"You were an HRM Grad?" Tanong ni Lesley nang makita niya yung art.
"No. But I have a friend who's interested in coffee and bartending so I learned from her." Ngumiti ako at umupo na din sa couch.
"Ang galing kasi ng latte art mo. And the coffee looks good, too." Ngumiti nalang ako at di na siya sinagot.
I remembered that I have to do something kaya iniwan ko muna silang dalawa na nakaupo sa couch. Habang nasa swivel chair ko ay tinawagan ko naman si Soo Yeon sa telepono.
