Assembly poem

International yoga day.

Whopeee.... its so fun I'm going to faint.

If you didn't notice, I was being very sarcastic.

The bus ride was really fun though.

We were playing truth of dare the whole time.

But the worst part was where they made Aanish propose to me.

And he did it very stupidly.

I was lucky enough that no one noticed that I was blushing.

Now we were sitting at some random stadium under the hot, hot sun.

Uh, I was getting seriously sunburnt.

Kalani and Stella were also getting bored so I gave them a brilliant idea.

"How bout we play ToD?" They stared at me, and then agreed readily.

We started playing when a boy sitting across me threw a newspaper at me.

I held it in my hand and tossed it back to him. Soon it became a paper fight.

We stopped cause a miss was looking our direction, so we started our game of ToD.

The funniest part was when they made one of the boys kiss a presidents' photo.

We were laughing like idiots when we went to our busses again.

We continued to play, and then in the end I was the only person left without a dare.

Thank god, or did I say that too soon?

I had to do my dare in the class.

And my dare? Go tell Anish that I liked him. (It was back and forth.) Or, write I hate the fudgecake world on the board, which I'm totes not doing.

My blush slowly took over my face, I think I was as red as a tomato.

I told him, and he stared at me like I was an alien.

I stood there for a minute and then I told him it was a dare.

He nodded his head as it all came into sense.

But the bad part?

A few other boys decided to do matchmaking and soon they made us paired up.

The name was Aaniya.

Yeesh, people were so stupid these days.

And the one they were pairing me up with was even more stupid.

But then again, he was awesome as a friend, keeping my secrets, and making me laugh when I was upset.

I went back to my seat, being jobless.

Dev was talking with Suzi, and I didn't want to interfere.

In case you didn't know, he had a crush on her, and she on him.

The only reason they weren't together was because she was older than him.

I guess it was, that was what everyone told me.

Eh, I need to go.

Some boring assembly was next.

Thank god the boys line was next to me, so I was between Dev and Suzi.

We talked and talked, like there was all the time in the world.

At one point I wanted them to talk to each other, so I said the weirdest line I could.

"And the boy stared into his loves eyes, shiny like the moonlight."

He stared into mine sarcastically, but I felt something warm up inside me.

He laughed to break the silence, and I smiled, but what was that feeling?

I guess I truly did love him like my bro.

I swore on my life that he always would be.

No matter what happens.

I don't care if you hate me, or even think of me as a friend... you'll always be my bro. Forever and ever.
