Roses pov

The train the came to a halt, "get your stuff Joe. We're leaving", the whistle sounded from the person outside. I grabbed all our luggage that I could carry and walked out. I then waited for the officers to bring out the rest while Mr Widows got in a car and immediately left.

"Here you go miss", they placed them beside the three others

"Thank you", I said before the two gentlemen walked away. I then looked to Josephine who was in my arms and we rubbed noses together and giggled.

"I love you mummy. This is gonna be the best holiday adventure ever!", she seemed excited and pumped for what is scheduled ahead. Boi were we wrong.

We sat at the station waiting for over 2 HOURS! For our ride got delayed and now it feels like they have forgotten to take us to our new house. We were the last ones there and we ran out of stuff to do. Josie is now not drawing and moving the arms on her doll trying to entertain herself while I sit here bored out of my own misery. I stared at the ground looking like s

"You want mummy to teach you how to play Norts and Crosses and hopscotch?", she then slowly nodded. I then grabbed a rock and drew boxes to start a game of hopscotch. "So basically what you do is you hop into the square with one foot", I showed her, "and then when there is two you do it with both. See. And you keep going to the end. You want try?", she then got up. And slowly did it.

"I DID IT MUMMY I DID IT!", she rejoiced finishing the set.

"YAYYYY!", I picked her up, "do you think you can do it faster and beat me?", I challenged her.

"Yeah",she sounded sweet but unsure about what's going to happen. She then best her last pace.

"Yayyyy!", I cheered her on.

"Your go mummy", she waited me for me at the end. I then did it slowly so she could win.

"I think you beat me Josie. But I reckon I can beat you at Norts and crosses", I then grabbed the snare rock and drew a four lines. "It's quite simple really. You have a nort and a cross", I drew the signs for her, "and each person has a go and had to get three in a row to win. It's very simple really. You start", I handed the rock to her. She then drew an X. "Ok so I'm a nort", I drew s circle where I had chosen, "she then put her X in the last spot available to win. "JOSEPHINE JACKLYN DAWSON?! How did you beat me?!!!", she just smiled and laughed, "alright you're on. One more round", I drew up the Norts and crosses table and ouh mine in the centre. She then won again, "JOESIE!", she rocked back and forth. I am god smacked. A car horn then tooted. We then got off the ground.

"Urh Rose Dawson", he read out on a note. I then it my hand up and took some of our bags while he took the rest.

"Hop in the car Josephine", I told her to get in. She then got a window view.

"Mummy look at that!", she pointed to the pier.

"Wow!", I moved over to where she is.

"Santa Monica pier ladies. Your house is a few streets down", the driver notified us. A few minutes later we arrived at our new house.

It is a light and creamy beach shack only made for two to three people. It looks like a holiday house. Where couples who have children can keep them automatically entertained.

I then helped the driver and brought some bags inside. Josephine ran ahead running all over the house to see it all. I then walked into our bedroom dumping our the stuff down.

"MUMMY! MUMMY!", she jumped on the bed. I then turned around and gave her a piggy back, "weeeeeee. Faster mummy faster!", she wanted me to the run. I then heard a car door shut. I then walked out to see..

"Mr Brighton! What are you doing all the way out here?", I asked. Josephine then made my way down from my back.

"To check out how my superstar was settling in. Wow look at this place", he kissed me on both sides of my cheeks. Josephine then jumped and tugged his trousers for attention. He then picked her up, "so what do you think of this place Josie? Far better than living with your Aunt"

"We haven't been here long. We just arrived today!"

"TODAY! Well luckily I'm here to help you two beautiful girls settle in", he then put Josie down and we all helped unpack boxes.

"Thank you", I said to him.

"Nonsense Rose. I'll do anything to make sure you and your little girl are safe and comfortable", awwwwww.

"Well thank you. It would of taken a few days to weeks unpacking all the boxes by myself"

"Well I'm glad to be of service to you Rose. I'm leaving tomorrow so I better start packing"

"Tomorrow?! Aren't you gonna stay and watch me on set?", I asked.

"I've seen you do it in every stage performance Rose. I have no doubt that this will be any different. You are going to amaze us all. Trust me!", he then hopped in his taxi and left. I then entered the house to see drawings hung up all over the place. JOSEPHINE! I marched into our bedroom to find her. She is hanging up the family painting.

"Oh here let me help", I held it for her while she sticky taped it on.

"There!", she finished and sat there looking at it. She's so much like Jack. "Do you like it mommy?"

"Are you kidding I love it!". I grabbed her and placed her in my lap, "more than you know", I kissed her. She the played with my hands.

"I love you mummy", she then pushed herself upwards and kissed my jaw. I just sat there rocking there before we both sang 'Come Josephine' .
