Roses pov

The day was long and hot. There is a light breeze sweeping through trying to help set our makeup. Josie sat in my chair and watched and drawed. Most people just ignored her and walked past her. Every time the director called 'cut' she would always come off the chair and give me my water bottle.

"Thank you sweet pea", I drank the water as she stood at my feet smiling.

"George! George!", she pointed and ran to swooping past me running across the set.

"Hello little Josie", he picked her up over the 'fence'.

"HEY! You're not meant to be here!", a security guard shouted at him from afar catching him out.

"No no it's alright", I stepped in walking over to them, "hello George", I reached them as the security guard backed away off into the shadows keeping an eye on us.

"Hello Rose. WOW! Look at you, this set up. Amazing. Nothing like I've ever seen before that's for sure", he looked around at the cameras and set builders and stuff.

"Thank you", I replied.

"Are you set for our big day Josie?", he asked as Josie played with his dangling hand.

"YEAH!", she jumped for joy.

"I'll be done by 4/5 at the latest", I handed him her bag of stuff that I packed for her, "Right a kiss for mamma", I knelt down awaiting for her kiss as she sweetly gave me a soft peck onthe cheek, "stay safe and have a fun day my beautiful girl", I played with a curl resting on her shoulder staring into her ocean eyes.

"Bye mummy", she held his hand and smiled waving back at me. I waved back at her.

"Bye", I hope to god she's safe and has a good time.

Georges Pov

We went around the whole pier. I got her some fairy floss and ice cream, we had a few cracks at some games and I won her a teddy bear that she now loves.

"Can I go on George please. Please", she begged me to go the roller coaster, again.

"No no no. That's enough for me Josie. What about you go on yourself. You're a big girl now", I wanted to sit down and relax. She's an independent girl. She can do it. Look at her mother for example. But she does remind me of my daughter Miriam a lot. Her light blue sky coloured eyes, her spirit, and her way with words. Plus she loves this roller coaster. I've never met anyone who is her age and height who loves it!

"Go on Josie. You'll be fine. The guy will let you on", I shooed her away. I then watched her as she jumped in line. And went on time after time after time after time.

Josephine's Pov

"Haven't you been on here before?", A nice young man asked me. Don't talk to strangers. I jumped on the ride and sat down in the cart. He laughed at me, "I'm sorry but you'll have to hop out"

"But why?", I looked up at him.

"Cause it's the polite thing to do for all these people ", he showed me the line that was like a snake curling round the back.

"But why? They can wait in line like me can't they?", he smiled and laughed again.

"Come on, out you pop", I then hopped out of the cart and walked down the stairs. Everyone is staring at me. And for once I don't like it. I then ran back to George crying feeling humiliated.

"Oh Josephine", he cuddled me on the bench.

"They won't let me on the ride now!", I cried into his shirt.
