Dave p.o.v
I woke up in the hospital. My body had a cast on and when I moved, my body hurt. I flinched and sat back down. I look over next to me in a chair Karkat sleeping like a angel. Then last night hit me.

I called the nurse in and Karkat immediately woke up. "WHAT THE-DAVE YOUR EYES."

"Please put my shades on babe." I said.

He growls and put it on and I smile. "Where's (y/n)?" I asked.

"She in a fucking room. Dirk is with her."

Then the nurse came in. "Do you need anything Mr. Strider?" She asked sweetly.

"Can I see (y/n)?" I asked.

"Um...." she checked her clipboard. "Her last name?"

I look at Karkat. "She doesn't have one yet."

"Oh okay, I need Karkat vantas then." She spoke and Karkat stood up.

They went out the room and I stayed there by myself. Then Karkat came back with (y/n) in his arms. She was sleeping and had a bandage arm her arm. "She is sleeping." Karkat whispered.

He gently put (y/n) beside me. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her close. I scoot over to make some space for Karkat also. "Yo KitKat, come over here." I said.

"Why the fuck would I lay with you?" He asked.

"Come one. We're family." I smirk.

"Geez fine! I'll do it because of (y/n) dumbass." He climbed in and wrapped his arm around (y/n) too. We stared into each other eyes.

"I love you karles." I spoke and he blushed.

"I love you too dumbass." He smiles.

"Do you think if (y/n) never entered our lives, would we be together?" Karkat asked.

I sigh. "I think so but it would be boring without (y/n)." I said.

"Yeah I'm happy she is with us." He said and I smiled. "If she wasn't here I wouldn't have developed feelings for you."

My eyes widen. If she wasn't here I would have been rejected. I smile because (y/n) was here and was she made me feel lucky. I kissed (y/n) forehead.

(Y/n) p.o.v
  I woke up and found myself in between Dave and Karkat. I smile and close my eyes again.

"Stay still you rat!" The troll leader yelled. He grabbed my little arms and pulled it out the bars.

I immediately stayed still.  He grabbed his sharp knife. He pressed it against my arm. Then he cut my arm, I let out a scream. He lick my arm and sucked on my blood. He smirks more and grabs my other arm and does the same thing.

"You taste so good." He smiled.

I whimpered. He opened the cage and grabbed me. He licked my cheeks. I was so scared to do anything. I cried. He picks up my shirt and touched my body in a weird way.

"You are really beautiful, too bad I have to kill you." He licks my stomach and I felt so cold. I kicked his face and ran back in the cage and closed the door. I had the keys in my tail and threw it in the pot.

"You piece of trash!" He growls. I cry silently and hug my tiny body.

"You know who cares! No one would love you, your unloveable." He spat at my face and cried more.

Then someone shook me. "(Y/n) wake up." I heard Dave voice but I couldn't wake up.

"(Y/n) wake up." Karkat said and I immediately woke up.

Dave and Karkat looked at me and gave me a weird look.

"Are you alright?" Dave asked and I hugged him.

"Is he here?" I asked.

"Who's here?" Karkat asked.

"The troll?" I said weakly.

"He's dead don't you remember?" Dave said.

My tears started to spill. "Dave I'm so sorry." I apologize again.

Karkat p.o.v
Dave gives me a worried look. He hugs (y/n) and pats her back. "Shh...it all over now." He said and she seemed more calm.

"(Y/n) what happened?" I asked.

She starts to explain her dream to us. "Dude are you alright?" Dave ask.

"YES WHY?" I ask furious.

"You started to make a killer face when she said he touched her." Dave said.

"I did?" I calm down. "Well he shouldn't have touched her like that! She is only a child!"

"I know but now he is dead, so now there is no one to hurt you." Dave smiles at (y/n). She smiles and starts to say some random shit.

I smile and listen to her ramble about how she would be better. Dave and I laugh, "You are perfect the way you are now." I said and she beamed.

After a few hours of talking she spoke. "Can we go to the aquarium?" She asked and Dave and I look at each other.

"I promised you didn't I?" Dave sighs.

"Yes." Se looks at him.

"Well we will go when Dave gets better." I spoke.

"No you guys can go without me." Dave spoke.

(Y/n) grabbed my hand and Dave hands in her paws. "I want both of you to come with me, as a.....family."

I started to tear up, she was just so sweet. "Karkat are you okay?!" Dave yells.

"I'm fine dumbass!" I yell.

"What wrong daddy?" (Y/n) ask.

I hug her. "Nothing sweetie. You are just so cute."

"Wow, I thought crying was for losers." Dave smirks.

"Shut up! This is a sweet moment don't ruin it."

Dave laughs and hugs both of us. "When I get out we will go to the aquarium together as a family."
