"ok students, I have the results here, I have chosen one duet and two solos a female and a male, so the duet will be presented by Harry and Kendall, and the solos will be Zayn and Cara. Good luck everybody and make me proud." As soon as she finishes I jump and hug Harry so tightly and scream we did it. As soon as I understand what I did he puts me down and I say sorry. He just smiles and we both take our bags and head out of the studio to the cafeteria. We walk there in an awkward silence and when we get there we order and sit
"So we did it, didn't we??" he breaks the silence
"yep "I say popping the p "we did it, but we have a long journey ahead us now so we should be very prepared, I don't really want to disappoint Ms. Smith she choose us over the others it's really a privilege" I really appreciate this and I won't take this for granted but what's a trip without having some fun right?
"Yeah, but we should enjoy it, wow we're going to visit so many places, isn't that awesome??" he says as if he read my thoughts as I nod "We're going to have so much fun. I can't wait. It's like we are in school but in the Same time we are in vocations"
"Yeah I can't wait either "I say as I take a sip of my drink
"So you have the list with yourself"he changes the subject
"Yeah, it's in one of my bag pocket, just a second." I open my bag to look for it and I hardly find it "Yeah here it is "I unfold it and show it to Harry
"So what's next??" he asks and I read the list
1. Sit in the sun without anything to do, feel the heat of the rays hit your skin, realize that this sunlight has travelled a very long way to reach you.....check √√
2. Walk around barefoot and try to feel as much of the ground under your feet as you can, notice every rock and blade of grass
3. Sit quietly for a while and notice the touch of breath in your nostrils, feel how the air gets cooler as you inhale and warmer as you exhale
"Hey I know" I say and immediately grab my bag and Harry's hand and walk away from the cafeteria. "We'll go to the park we're going to walk barefoot and then we're going to sit in the sun and in a quiet place so this way we'll complete 1, 2 and 3 and then we can start with the others tomorrow"
"Ok" Harry says and gives me a confusion look. Crap "Hey Sorry, I mean I know the list is for me and you are not obligated to come with me you know but I thought that you maybe wanted to join me, you don't have to if you don't want."
"No it's ok, I mean I'd love to come "he says and I can feel my cheeks blush and a smirk forms in his lips
"Ok then let's go" I say as soon as I understand that he saw my cheeks
"By the way, you look cute when you blush." He makes me blush again and a wider smirk forms in his lips
"Just shut up and let's go." I say and we start to walk toward park.
After 10 minutes talking about stupid things and bullshits we finally are at the park and I take my shoes off and walk in the green grass feeling its freshness it's a really awesome feeling.
"I think we should sit somewhere and just breath and relax!" I say and Harry starts to look around and then he says
"Look there is a bench we can go and sit there if you want?" he asks but I don't really think that a bench will work
"Nah, why don't we sit in the grass?? It will be nicer" I say and he nods following me as we sit in the grass we lay there in the silence until I break the silence
"So your mom did the list, is she a writer??" I ask him as I turn to face him
"For me she is a writer but she never published any book so it's not like a real writer but I really love her writing, it's so inspirational it can change your opinions upside down it's really cool." And I can feel by his voice that he has never been more sincere than this
"I'd like to read something from her if you don't mind and if you have anything with yourself I mean?!" I really want to be inspired right now
"Really? "He looks surprised and I nod "Yeah, sure hold just a moment." He starts controlling his bag "I got only this by myself it's something she wrote for me after my ex left. It was really hard and this helped." Wow something that I need since my best friend is fucking my ex sorry I had to say ex best friend
"Thanks" he hands me the paper and I unfold and starts to read it
1. When a boy/girl who leaves Goosebumps on every inch of your skin tries to play you his/her favorite song, don't let him. He/she'll get it stuck in your head and under your fingertips and when he/she leaves, you won't be able to listen to it without feeling like you're choking.
2. Don't let him/her touch you all over no matter how much you want to feel him/her against you. Leave a few spots untouched so that when you're sleeping alone again, at least your left wrist and an inch of your right hip won't sting with the remaining burn of his/her mouth.
3. Don't let him/her break your ribs.
4. Don't watch the sunset with him/her. He/she'll poison it. You won't be able to look at the sky without swallowing a mouthful of him/her.
5. Don't mistake wasps for butterflies. Sometimes when you feel your stomach flutter and your hands start to shake its pain, not love.
6. Just because he/she tells you he/she loves you doesn't mean he/she's going to stay.
7. Its okay to delete his/her number after he/she kisses the pretty girl/boy he met when he was drunk. It's okay to leave when he/she hurts you. You don't have to keep falling into him/her.
8. When he/she tells you that you're beautiful, try to remember that you were beautiful before him/her too.
9. Just because he/she reads and smokes cigarettes and talks about the stars doesn't mean he/she's your soulmate.
10. After you kiss him/her, remember to wash your mouth out right away so he/she doesn't burn into your tongue.
11. He/she'll kiss you in the rain and take you to little coffee shops. He/she'll pass his/her fingers through your hair and take them out of your eyes and kiss your nose. He/she'll grab your waist and whisper in your ear but six months later you'll find yourself drunk texting him/her that you miss him/her and he/she won't respond.
12. Your heart is going to break a million times. It's going to feel like the world is falling apart around you. Your lungs will stop working some nights. You find yourself grabbing at your bones trying to hold yourself together. You're going to feel like you're dying. It's going to be okay. You'll find someone else to kiss you goodnight."
