Not For Me | A Temilio Fanfiction

Goodbye, Old Friend.

Emilio POV:

I woke up. Alone. For a second I still thought Temilio was real. Guess I have to let go of that. I look at the clock, 7:30 A.M. Plane boards at 1 P.M. I want to spend my last few hours with Tessa, I look around, but she's not home. Should've known.

I call her. "Hey Tessa." "Hey." She didn't sound like her usual happy self, why? Guess.

"My plans boards in about 3 hours, want to do something?" "Why?" She asks, you know why, I love you. "Well do we really want our last memory of each other to be bad?" I ask. "No. I'm at the coffee shop." "Okay." I hang up. Okay Emilio, let's go to the coffee shop.

Tessa POV:

I told Emilio where I was because even though I really don't care for his company right now, he's right. I want our last memory to be good. After all, he had so much going for us, it'd be wrong to leave a sour aftertaste.

Emilio eventually walks through the door, I hold up a finger to show him I am over here. He smiles and walks over. "We don't have much time to do anything." I say stirring my coffee looking down. "That's the wrong attitude." Emilio said leaning over the table with a smile. "Thanks for coming." I reason but still don't look him in the eye. "Yeah."

Emilio POV:

We sat in the coffee shop and talked for two hours!! It didn't feel that long, but when you look at the table and see the five empty coffee cups, it's not hard to understand. "I guess we better head home." Tessa says standing up and grabbing her purse. "I guess." We then leave the store. In the car, all I could think about was Tessa, this is my last day. I go home, grab my bags, and head to the airport.

I get there, it's just me and Ivan, outside the airport, as were walking to go into the building when we see a familiar van pull up. Team 10!

"Oh my gosh, I didn't think you guys were gonna come!" Ivan shouts with the biggest smile on his face! I just look at Tessa, I don't want to leave her.

"We couldn't let you guys go without saying goodbye!" Chance and Jake shout. We all do a group hug but Nick stays out of it, we look at him. "The hair." He says. "Come on, Nick..." Tessa pleads. "Oh, alright." He joins the group hug. I'm going to miss these people.

We all end the group hug with tears in our eyes, "Have fun in Spain boys." Jake says as we pick up our bags and walk off. "And don't forget, it's everyday bro." He shouts as we enter the building. Me and Ivan look at each other and smile. "Let's go home, brother." Ivan says as walk to the boarding station.

Tessa POV:

"And they're gone." I say looking at the closed doors. "We can always FaceTime." Uncle Kade says. I hug him. Let's go. We head back home, but I decide to call an uber to take me to Emilio and I's spot, one last time. With Emilio not coming back to the U.S. anymore, this lake house will probably be sold and then I won't get to come here anymore.

I get there and all the memories flood back, I cry. I see our first date, our first kiss, our first 'love you.' It all happened up here on this mountain.

"Tessa," I turn around, It's Emilio!

"Tessa, will you marry me?!"
