Talks As Long As Night

Tessa POV:

Emilio and I drive home, when we walk in, we find everyone scattered about the house frantic. Uncle Kade sees us and his eyes widen. "Here they are!" He yells to the whole house, everyone comes to the door, relieved, but curious. "Where were y'all?" Anthony asked. "We were worried, y'all didn't come home last night." We heard someone else say. Me and Emilio look at each other confused as what to say.

"It's for a vlog." Emilio started, but I finished him off saying, "It's a surprise, you guys can see it when it comes out." I say straight-faced but nervous. "Okay..." Erica said slyly, turned around and walked off. Which raised a suspicion in Chance. "Well, can't wait to see the vlog." Jake said and walked off, as did the rest of the big group at the door.

Emilio POV:

After everyone bombarded Tessa and I at the door, we decide to head back to my room. We talk about all sorts of things, life, family, friends. I can tell her anything.

Tessa POV:

I feel I can tell Emilio anything, so I decide to. I tell him how I've been feeling lately about fans, and life in the public. He looks at me like he understands, but is also sympathetic for how I feel. "Thanks for telling me, Tessa." He says at the end of our conversation which lasted hours, or at least it felt like, in a good way, I like our talks. I like him. I really do.

Emilio POV:

I can't stand looking in Tessa's eyes, and her not being mine. I want her. I want to spend time with her. I never left her side today, but it felt like all those hours still weren't enough. Suddenly, I get an idea. Road trip! I don't know if she'll be up to it, but I know I am. I know, we could go to Nevada! Nevada sounds good, Nevada sound great. But being with Tessa is what sounds amazing.

Tessa POV:

It's 2 in the morning and I'm just sitting peacefully on my phone, when Emilio busts through my door with a bag. I look at him almost laughing, "Again?" "No, this is new." I tilt my head asking for more. "Nevada." I swear, I almost choke on my water. "We're going to Nevada?" "Sí" "Yes?" "Yeah." Emilio said smiling, gosh that dang smile, it can make you almost do anything. "Okay, I'll go." "Pack." He says before leaving the doorway. "Wait, today?!" I shout.

*10 minutes later*

I get done packing and head downstairs to see Emilio waiting with earbuds in, he takes them out smiling when he sees me. We're about to head out the door when I stop, "Shouldn't we tell the team first before we leave this time?" Emilio looks at me, jokingly rolls his eyes and turns around and heads toward Nick, Erica comes out of the kitchen and over hears Nick and Emilio's conversation. She looks at me smiling, then winks. I stick my tongue out and head out to the car. Hmm, Nevada.
