Landon and I walked into the guest room we always got while staying at Simon and Jide's place at the same time as the rest of the guys. Sure, we are all still friends with Vikk and all. But he is living in an apartment in the stratford tower now a days, close to Ethan, Tobi and Harry, but it's not enough space for six boys. Also, since Sofia's death we are really close to Simon. Landon and I come here at least twice a year and they visit us the same amount of time in Texas. It's nice, having those so close even though they are really far away geographically.
Anyway, we just arrived, and it's just over midday. But I'm so tired. What can you expect after sitting on a 14 hour flight? But we didn't go to bed. We just left our stuff and then went down to meet the other guys.
We were all sitting around the big dinner table and just chatted about everything and nothing. Videos and life experience. Where were we travelling in the future? Where did we want to go. It was a fun chat.
Closer to dinner time I looked to the window, just glancing at the weather for a second. I also saw a glance of a face. But turned back around without giving it a longer thought. Wait, was that? It couldn't be. I quickly turned back to the window. The person was gone. I must have imagined.
But a second later Landon stood up and walked up to the window. I looked after him, and there was the face again. Behind the hedge. Landon almost looked longingly towards it, meaning he must see someone there too.
The person was pale, like a ghost. Her eyes was piercing blue, you could see it clearly even from such a distance, her hair dirty blonde, much like Simons. That's when I realized it. It must be.
Landon mumbleded something, touching the glass. But then the person was gone. Landon sighed and turned back to us. We all stared at him.
"What?" Simon asked him, sounding confused.
"Nothing, I just thought I saw her" Landon mumbled before coming back and sitting down beside us again. Then the doorbell rang.
"I'm gonna go get it" Simon spoke and then disappeared.
"It's probably just Vikk and Josh, they were the only ones who were free for dinner tonight" JJ explained to us and I nodded before standing up. I wanted to greet them both.
While eating dinner I think I saw a face in the window again, but this time it was a reflection. So I turned around, but no one was there, of course.
"Is your house haunted?" Lachlan suddenly asked out of nowhere.
"No?" JJ said laughing in confusion.
"I think I've seen weird faces all over the place since we came. Maybe I'm just tired" Lachlan explained.
"Nah, I saw them too fam" Mitch agreed pointing to the window. It's a reflection of the same person. Josh was the only one who didn't seem confused. He just looked nervous, I wonder why.
"Ghost don't exist" Melody spoke, and I noticed a small smile reflecting in the glass.
"Of course they don't little one" Simon replied with a smile. He loved his daughter so much, it was really cute.
Suddenly the sound of someone walking up the stairs was heard. Alright, the house must be haunted.
"I can't be the only one who heard that" Lachlan pointed out and both Simon and Jide stared weirdly towards the staircase.
"I can check it out" Josh volunteered, which I found strange, then he disappeared. Is he up to something? Something isn't right here.
