I've been trying to sleep for a few hours but I can't sleep, a bunch of bad thoughts have been haunting me for the past couple hours, I start to cry, I feel so pathetic, maybe my roommate is still awake. I get up and go downstairs into the living room, I sit on the couch and think. It's half past three when I hear Aaron say "what are you doing still up?" I srugg, I'm still crying and my thoughts keep getting worse. Aaron sits next to me and says "what's wrong?" I say "the voices are back" he puts his arm around me and says "you'll be okay, have you gotten any sleep?" I shake my head and say "what are you doing up?" he says "I heard you get up and when I didn't hear your door close I thought I'd check on you, I'm glad I did, what are the voices saying?" I say "the usual, I'm worthless, I should die, cut" he stops me and says "Y/N don't listen to them, you're amazing" I nod not believing his words, he then says "come lay with me" he grabs my hand and talks me to his room, we lay on his bed and he starts singing When You Can't Sleep At Night. When he finishes singing, I start to feel a bit better, he then says "Y/N I love you" I look at him and say "why? " he smiles and says "because you have an amazing personality, your pretty and kind, I smile and say "I love you too Aaron" he says "do you think you can sleep now?" I nod and get up to leave but Aaron grabs my wrist and says "just stay" I nod and lay back down,  I say "thanks Aaron" he says "no problem, remember I'm always here for you" I say "I know, goodnight" and I hear him say "goodnight" before falling asleep.
