I'm sitting outside an arena where Of Mice & Men are playing tonight, I couldn't get tickets so I thought I'd just sit outside in case I can hear them from out here, It's been raining basically all day but I'm not moving just in case. Half an hour later I hear voices coming from the side of the building, I get up to see two guys, they turn around after I move closer, I soon realise the two guys are Aaron and Austin, Austin says "how long have you been out here?" I shrugg and say "I don't know three hours maybe" Aaron and Austin look at each other before Austin says "come with us" I follow them inside the building, we walk into a room and Austin asks "are you here for the show?" I shake my head and say "no I couldn't get tickets, I was out there in case I could hear the music" he nods and says "we're about to rehearse why don't you come watch" I smile and say "really?" He nods and we all walk to the stage, we walk onto the stage and I see Alan, Phil and Tino with their instruments, Alan looks at me and says "who's this?" Austin tells them what happened, I sit on the side of the stage and watch them preform some songs until Austin asks "could you do When You Can't Sleep At Night?" he looks at the guys and asks "do you remember how it goes?" They all nod, Austin sits next to me as they begin playing the song, I smile I've always loved this song, I never thought I'd hear it live. They finish the song and Tino says "that should be good for rehersals, they all agree, Austin says "I really should have asked you this before, what's your name?" I smile and say "Y/N" he smile and says "well, Y/N would like to hang out with us and watch the show from backstage?" I smile and nod, we follow the guys back into the room I assume is there dressing room, we sit on the couch and Austin asks "how old are you?" I look at him and say "I'm nineteen" (he's the same age in this) he nods and I say "I have to just say this, I can't believe I met you, I've looked up to you for so long and I never thought I'd meet you" he smiles and says "that means a lot and today must be your lucky day" I smile and say "yeah, I guess there was a reason I couldn't get tickets and a reason I decided to sit outside the arena" he nods and smiles. A few hours later it's time for OM&M to preform, I follow them to the side stage and watch as they get their instruments, I smile at Austin and say "good luck" he smiles and says "thanks" he walks over to get his mic and I notice Alan Austin and say something to him while looking at me, I look away soon after as they all run onstage. After an hour they finish, they walk offstage and put there instruments away, Austin comes over to me and asks "how did we do?" I smile and say "you guys we're amazing" he smiles and says "thanks" Alan walks over and says something to Austin quietly like earlier, Austin then looks at me and says "come with me" I smile and follow him back into their dressing room, he looks at me and says !I know we kinda just met but I was wondering if you'd like to go out with me sometime" I smile and say "I'd love to" we put our numbers in each others phones before smiling at each other and walking back to hang out with the others, I can't believe what happened today It feels like a dream.
