Another day at the studio but today is going to be a good day, Miles is going to recored the guitar for 505, I'm really looking forward to everyone hearing the song and I can't wait to play it live though that could be because Miles might join us sometimes, I smile as I get up and get dressed, fixing my hair before getting the things I need and heading to the studio. I walk inside and see the others, I smile and ask "is Miles here yet?" They shake their heads and Matt says "your crush" I give him a glare and say "fuck off" he laughs, I shake my head and look at my phone to see a message from Miles, I smile as I open the message

Miles: Hey, what time should I get to the studio?

Me: We're all here now so you can come anytime since we need to finish some drum parts then I need to do vocals on a few songs.

Miles: Okay, would it be okay if I get there at around 12?

Me: Yeah that's fine, see you then.

I turn my phone off and tell the others Miles will be here in two hours, at least we can finish some things before he comes.

After an hour Matt has recorded all the drum parts for all the songs and Nick finished all the bass now we need to finish the vocals and some guitar parts. Miles gets here a few minutes later, he smiles as he walks in and says "hey guys, plans changed so I decided to come earlier" everyone greets Miles as I walk over to the producer and ask which we'll record first before walking back over to Miles, he smiles and pulls me into and hug, if only I could tell him how I feel, he moves away and says "so, what are we doing first?" I say "I'm gonna do the vocals then we can work on the guitar parts" he nods, Matt, Nick and Jamie decide to leave since they've finished all that they've had to do plus I feel like they knew I wanted to be alone with Miles.
After a couple hours I've finished all the vocals for 505, I walk out of the recording booth and walk back over to Miles, he smiles and says "that was amazing" I smile and say "thanks Miles" he nods and says "anyway, let's record the guitar" I smile and we go over what we want done.
An hour later Miles finishes recording and says "how was that?" I smile and say "amazing, thanks Miles" he smiles and says "don't thank me, I love doing this" I smile again, I really want to tell him how I feel, maybe if the producer leaves I will, I don't want to ruin our friendship though, "Alex?" I look up and see Miles looking at me "hmm, what? Sorry I got distracted" he laughs and says "you seem quite distracted, you okay?" I nod and say "yeah, just thinking about things" he nods and says "since we're finished here do you just wanna hang out?" I nod and say "yeah sure" he smiles and says "wanna just come to my house so people won't see us?" I nod and say "yeah sure" dammit I already said that, I follow Miles out the door and we walk to his house mostly in silence.
We get to his house and walk inside, he closes the door before we sit on the couch and he says "everyone is gonna love the new album" I smile and say "yeah, because you're featured on one of the songs" he laughs and says "shut up Alex" I laugh, I guess it's now or never to tell him, I look at him and say "umm, Miles?" He looks at me confused and says "yeah?" I look down before continuing "Miles, we've been friends for so long now but I need to tell you something" I look up and say "Miles, I love you" he looks st me surprised but stays quiet, I shouldn't have said anything I stand uo and sigh before saying "ignore me Miles" he looks up at me and says "why?" I look at him and say "because I told you I love you and I feel like I've just fucked up our friendship, if you want me to leave just tell me and I'll go" he shakes his head and stands up, grabbing my hands before saying "Alex I wouldn't ignore you or tell you to leave because I love you too" I look up at him and say "really? You're joking aren't you?" He says "no Alex I'm not, I've liked you for a while but there wasn't ever a good time plus I was worried" I smile and say "I really can't believe this" he smiles and puts a hand on my cheek while the other stays holding my hands, he slowly moves closer while looking into my eyes, next thing I know our lips are moving in sync, we kiss until we're out of breath and Miles moves away smiling at me, I smile back and say "I love you Miles" he smiles and says "I love you too Alex".
