I stared at Loki. "You want to what?" I asked.
"I told you to trust my plans. I need you to do that now." Loki said. I sighed.
"Okay." I said. Loki and I went out to the Bifrost and Loki requested passage to Jotunheim.
The Bifrost came to life and we were on the frozen landscape of Jotunheim.
"Follow my lead." Loki said. I nodded and he lead me to the 'palace'.
"Kill them." Laufey said. My heart nearly stopped, but Loki simply tilted his head.
"After all I've done for you?" He said.
"So you're the one who showed us the way into Asgard." Laufey said.
"Oh it was just a bit of fun really." Loki said. "To ruin my brother's big day. And to protect the Realm from his idiotic rule for a while longer."
"I will hear you." Laufey leaned forward. Loki nudged me.
"I will conceal you and a handful of your soldiers," I said, staring the king down. "Lead you into Odin's chambers and you can slay him where he lies." Laufey smirked.
"Why not kill him yourselves?" He asked.
Loki scoffed. "I suspect that the Asgardians would not take kindly to a king who had murdered his predecessor. As for her, well...she has the trust of the Realm. Can't have that going to waste."
I smirked. "Once Odin is dead, we will return the casket to you and you can return Jotunheim to all it's...glory." I said, glancing around.
"I....accept." Laufey said.
Loki and I went back to the Bifrost site and Loki smiled at me.
"Heimdall!" He called. The bridge shot down and brought us to Asgard.
"What troubles you, gatekeeper?" Loki asked.
"I turned my gaze upon you in Jotunheim, but I could neither see you nor hear you." Heimdall mused. "You were shrouded from me like the Frost Giants that entered this realm."
"Perhaps your senses have weakened after your many years of service." Loki said.
"Or perhaps someone has found a way to hide that which he does not wish me to see."
"You have great power, Heimdall." Loki began to walk around the gatekeeper. I followed warily. "Did Odin ever fear you?"
"No."
"And why is that?"
"Because he is my king. And I'm sworn to obey him."
"He was your king. And you are sworn to obey me now." Loki said. "Yes?"
"Yes."
"Then you will open the Bifrost to no one. Until I repair the damage that my brother has done." Loki walked out of the golden chamber. I followed after slight hesitation.
