"Hey Michelle!" You sang in a high pitched voice as you skipped up to her locker.
"hi." She responded taking out a sketch book.
"Are you going to homecoming?" You asked, gesturing to the posters that were scattered all over the noisy hallway.
"uh yeah, you?" She asked as she was taking out a pen and flipping through the book.
"what are you doing?" You asked her.
"You see that?" She asked pointing at something down the hall, when you looked you saw that she was pointing to a teacher across the hallway who had boredom splattered over their face. "They look like they are stuck in the middle of a crisis." She said sketching, occasionally looking back up at the teacher.
"Ok well you can draw people in crisis later. Lets go to lunch." You said pulling her by her backpack down the hall and towards the lunchroom.
Ned had been talking to Peter about how the Lego Deathstar that they made looked beautiful on his shelf when he saw Y/N and Michelle walking down a hallway towards the lunchroom. The two girls seemed to be enjoying themselves because they were both laughing with each other as they talked.
"But anyway...Peter, are you listening?" Asked Ned stopping to turn to a dazed Peter who was staring dreamily down the hall. Confused Ned turned his head towards the direction in which Peter was staring.
"She's way more beautiful than any Lego set Ned." Said Peter dreamily, his eyes following Y/N as she walked down the crowded hallway.
"um..You've been talking about her all day" Said Ned, rolling his eyes.
"I have?" asked Peter only half paying attention.
Ned nodded then turned to his locker to switch out his books before going to lunch. Peter however still stood in the same dreamy stage.
After school you and Peter had decided to study in the public library, which was a bad idea because you got kicked out due to your uncomfortable laughing.
"We are never going there again." Said Peter, sliding down the stair rail.
"That was funny though!" You said laughing.
"When you knocked over that chair?" Asked Peter crossing his arms and biting his lip to conceal his laughter.
"Hey that wasn't my fault! The chair got in my way!"
"You mean like that wall did in gym?" Asked Peter, referring to earlier that day in gym when you had ran into a wall while trying to do a cartwheel.
"I'm both agile and graceful." You said curtsying.
"Yeah, and clumsy." Added Peter walking down the sidewalk away from the library.
"That too. Where are we going now?" You asked walking next to him.
"I don't know, wanna go to the tower?" He asked looking down to you.
"So.." said Peter while sitting on your bed.
"What?" You asked putting down your backpack.
"Do you have a homecoming in space?" He asked curiously.
You shook your head. "I don't even go to school, I'm homeschooled." You responded sitting next to him.
"So you've never had a boyfriend either?"
"No, I'm not allowed to date. My dad doesn't want me anywhere near a boy. He's pretty protective, I really miss him though." You said looking at the ground.
"You'll find him. Or he'll find him, either way I'm here for you." Said Peter putting his arm around you for comfort.
"Thanks Pete." You smiled looking up at him. You're eyes flickered down to his lips then back to his eyes and noticed him do the same. He began leaning in, your lips were inches apart when the door flew open revealing Tony.
"We need you down here kid." He said to you rushing the sentence out. You didn't question what was wrong but when you followed Tony to a helocarrier you began getting curious. The thing flew down to the middle of a park to what looked like the remains of a plane. Fire and giant metal pieces were thrown around the park, it must had been a crash.
"Why am I here?" You asked tony curiously looking at him as he leaded you around the mess. He pointed to a side of a tree and when you looked over you saw a familiar figure.
"Looks like someone missed you." He smiled.
Your jaw dropped to the ground and you felt a rush of emotions go through you. After months of crying, after months of praying you stood here staring at something familiar, someone familiar.
"Gamora?" You called out to the figure. The x assassin turned around and her face brightened up.
"Y/N!" She called back running up to you and embraceing you. "I knew we'd find you! I promised Quill! We all did, we found you!" She said tears forming in her eyes.
"We?" You asked, backing up. She nodded and looked at something behind you, you turned around and your breath caught in your throat. Standing there after eleven months was none other than Peter Quill, star lord your father and the other guardians.
