Chapter Fourteen: This Isn't Real.

The sound of movement causes me to stir in my sleep, groaning my eyes slowly flutter open, I come face to face with darkness. Feeling a presence in the room causing me to sit up and rub my sleepy eyes like a child would. All I want to do is go to sleep. That's all I ask but no, one of those idiots want to mess with me. Reaching over, my fingers wrap around the knob to turn on the light of the lamp. Turning the knob, lights appears and brighten my room. Rubbing my eyes again, I look outside of my window to see darkness and silhouettes of the trees. This whole house is surrounded by trees, we're in the middle of the woods.

Slowly, I turn my head to look around my room. On the edge of my bed, the tall scary man from the other night stands there watching me. His sea blue eyes causes terror to pulse through my veins. My eyes widen, my heart quickens. I'm about to scream loud, wanting help from somebody. But a large, freezing hands is placed over my mouth, as the man stands on the side of the bed. Trying to pry his hand off, he has an iron grip. My cries for help are muffled, he tries to shush me but it obviously isn't working. Soon, fear leaves and anger fills its gap. My blood boils with rage. How dare he wake me! Who is he?!

Opening my mouth wide, his rough skin comes into contact with my sharp white pearly teeth. Biting down, he yells in pain trying to pry his hand away from me. After many attempts, I let go of his hand, immediately he pulls his hand back and rubs it trying to ease the pain. Getting up from the bed, I make a run for the door. With my hand wrapped around the doorknob, pulling the door open a bit. He realizes my intention and slams the door back, how did he get here so quick? I don't know. Backing away, I put my hands up in surrender he stands at the door with sadistic eyes daring me to yell.

Gulping down my fear, I slowly back away towards the window. Closer and closer I step towards the window. The only escape route that's left. Turning around quickly my hands grasp the window locks ready to unlock, but suddenly my feet don't touch the ground as pressure is put onto my stomach. I've been thrown over so many shoulders nowadays. Pounding my fists onto his back and kicking, shouting for him to put me down. He growls at me to shut up, squeaking from the sadistic noise that came from him I stop hitting.

Slowly, he puts me down off of his shoulder. My feet touch the ground as I push him off of me, not wanting his hands on me.

"I know you must be confused." He states, the voice is deep and rough as it was a few nights before.

"Who are you?! Why are you here?! Why were you here the other night? What's going on!" I exclaim stepping closer and closer to him with questions. He raises his hands up in surrender.

"Look, I can't give you all the details. Let's start off simple, my name is Micheal James. I'm your father." He states while moving his hands around, guess he talks with his hands. My eyes grow wide as my mouth drops. Slowly stepping back I remember what Jacob told me. How my grandfather was a vampire while my grandmother was a human, they both had a kid and named him Micheal. But he went crazy after Laura died. Backing up more, my thoughts are jumbled together. What do I do in this situation? This isn't real, this can't be real. No way, it this real.

"No! You're not my father! My father isn't a cold blooded vampire! Jacob!" I yell at him, running towards the door I try to grasp the doorknob but a fast strong force has my back pushed against the wall. Looking up I'm face to face with a ruthless vampire that thinks I'm his daughter. Yelling for Jacob or anybody, Micheal tries to drag me over towards the window. Trying to push him off of me his iron grip holds me hostage. This isn't real, this isn't real.

This is not happening! My father isn't a sadistic vampire, my father is a amazing man that cared for his family.

"You're not my father! He's dead!" I exclaim, coming closer and closer to the window. Micheal unlocks the window, pulling it all the way up, the cold breeze of the night enters the room. My shouts and cries for help is the only thing I hear. Before he does anything, he looks down at me. His eyes shift over towards my hands as he looks at the maroon ring that's around my finger. His eyes grow wide while staring at it.

"My ring." His voice is scratchy as he mumbles those words. Before anything else could happen, the bedroom door has shattered. Wooden pieces fly everywhere, Michael's grip has disappeared as a pair of bulky arms are wrapped around me. Someone's head is tucked in the crook of my neck. Looking around I can see Dale is holding me while Jacob leans out of the window looking around outside. Jordan stands in the doorway watching me with concern.

"That moron ran!" Jacob exclaims while slamming the window down and locking it. Looking into Jacobs eyes rage is all I can see, he furiously runs his hands through his hair. Gritting his teeth together her paces back and forth.
His head snaps over towards Jordan.

"Nail wood all over the window, she's staying in my room from now on. I don't want this to happen again." He orders, Jordan's eyes open wide and nods his head. About to complain about the whole "me staying in his room" thing, I shut my mouth when Jacob looks over at me.

"Who did you see Sage?" He questions me while stepping closer. Speaking in fear, my hands shake as the anger and power from before leaves my system. My heartbeat is the only thing I can hear as Jacob steps closer. He's inches away from me and raises his hand up in the air about to hit me.

"M-Micheal." I stutter while I flinch, my eyes are squeezed shut as my head is moved to the side. But, no hit comes, no pain is felt. Hesitantly, I peak one eye open to find Jacob with pain in his light green eyes. He stares at me with eyes full of hurt.

"You thought I was going to hit you?" He asks me with a small whisper, I look down at the ground. I did think he was going to hit me, since the bullying thing happened years ago I've always flinched when people are angry and raise their hand or move their leg.

Before I can say something, Jacob leaves the room. Leaving Dale, Jordan and I all quite.
